You&#8217;ll play a critical role in ensuring SouthRoads&#8217; projects meet client expectations while aligning with operational capabilities.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Your Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop accurate project estimates based on engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare detailed take-offs and quantity measurements for civil infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n<li>Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for cost accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Support the development of tender schedules, construction programs, and methodology inputs.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in pricing variations, contract claims, and budget monitoring to enhance future project accuracy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What You&#8217;ll Bring:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 3-5 years in estimating or quantity surveying within civil construction.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in software like Benchmark and Excel, with a strong understanding of NZS contracts and market rates.<\/li>\n<li>Strong numerical and risk assessment abilities with attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Desirable Attributes:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Familiarity with public sector tendering (e.g., NZTA, local councils).<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Experience in innovative procurement methods such as design-build or ECI.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Your path to success starts here<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Join a team where your expertise will shape the future of civil construction.
