U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is an international tier-one supplier of high-speed chain drive systems to the automotive industry.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for the procurement and inventory control of indirect materials to support the production floor and maintenance departments.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description \u2013 other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review and confirm specifications, quantities, price, lead-times, and requirements on the Purchase Orders.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and organize records and reports for efficient and timely referencing, as required by purchasing procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares purchase orders and bid requests.<\/li>\n<li>Manage annual pricing on MRO. Pricing negotiations with support from direct Supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>Blanket Purchase Orders (BPO) indirect (support direct as needed)<\/li>\n<li>Review and follow up on past due Purchase Orders<\/li>\n<li>Support maintenance with materials required for scheduled PM&#8217;s<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and maintain inventory levels within established goals and develop supplier stocking programs.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with suppliers regarding expediting, late deliveries, and pricing discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Assist Accounting to resolve receipt and payment discrepancies on purchase orders and invoices<\/li>\n<li>Adheres to purchasing policies, processes, and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>With support from direct supervisor, negotiates best vendor terms, pricing, and delivery based on a specific budget and schedule requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Support Company\/Department goals of reducing cost, quality, safety, and continuous improvement objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Assist department Supervisor and Buyers as needed<\/li>\n<li>Interfaces with all departments and resolves problems and issues as necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Requirements: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>2 &#8211; 3 years of related job experience<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel<\/li>\n<li>Attention to small details as well as strong math skills<\/li>\n<li>Effective verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently as well as within a structured team<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of purchasing terminology and practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> U.S. Tsubaki offers a competitive compensation package, including health benefits effective on date of hire, generous 401(k) match and profit sharing, education reimbursement, and annual bonus potential.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Tsubaki is an Equal Opportunity Employer &#8211; Minorities\/Females\/Veterans\/Disability<span class=\"br\"><\/span>PM21<span class=\"br\"><\/span>PI25c081d5af59-8722-36058031<\/p>\n<p><center><b><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.com\/jobad\/usf7bac9af6d20ab23f5f1c6ca2cd738f4?affid=0852fd5db5a52cbcd75bf945aa534932\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a> <\/b><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Description: The TSUBAKI name is synonymous with excellence in quality, dependability and customer service.
