Job Description:<\/b><\/span>Python & Groovy Lead Engineer<\/span>Hiring Location:<\/span>Bengaluru, India<\/span>Experience Range:<\/span>5 to 8 Years<\/span>Educational Qualification:<\/b><\/span>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.<\/span>Must-Have Skills:<\/span>Strong hands-on scripting experience with Python and Groovy<\/span>Deep understanding and implementation of CI\/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab<\/span>Experience with developing and maintaining shared libraries for pipeline automation<\/span>Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices<\/span>Familiarity with Linux command line, and scripting for automation<\/span>Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)<\/span>Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring engineers<\/span>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/span>Good-to-Have Skills:<\/span>Experience with Agile (Scrum) development methodologies<\/span>Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)<\/span>Building AWS AMIs for custom build servers<\/span>Knowledge of containerization\/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)<\/span>Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki)<\/span>Experience with Artifact repositories (e.g., Artifactory) and CDN<\/span>Exposure to Node.js, npm\/yarn, and JS build tools<\/span>Understanding of security best practices and production control implementations<\/span>Experience with AOSP (Android Open Source Project) builds<\/span>Productivity tooling and automation development<\/span>Roles & Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>Core Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>Lead the design and development of automation and CI\/CD infrastructure<\/span>Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security<\/span>Mentor and manage a team of engineers; support their technical growth<\/span>Build tools and systems for streamlining infrastructure deployment<\/span>Drive automation-first culture across infrastructure functions<\/span>Ensure cloud resource utilization is performance- and cost-optimized<\/span>Perform code reviews, technical design evaluations, and maintain high-quality coding standards<\/span>Lead cross-functional technical discussions and project planning<\/span>Project Execution & Delivery:<\/span>Ensure projects are delivered on time, with high reliability<\/span>Collaborate with global stakeholders to align project expectations and deliverables<\/span>Proactively resolve technical bottlenecks and system failures<\/span>Lead and contribute to design documents (HLD, LLD, architecture)<\/span>Quality & Compliance:<\/span>Maintain high quality with minimal defects post-delivery<\/span>Ensure compliance with coding and engineering standards<\/span>Complete mandatory training and ensure team compliance<\/span>Contribute to knowledge management: documentation, templates, guides<\/span>Expected Outcomes & Performance Metrics:<\/span>On-time and quality delivery of CI\/CD pipeline improvements<\/span>Reduction in manual efforts and increase in deployment speed<\/span>Fewer defects in development and production environments<\/span>Adherence to engineering standards, documentation completeness<\/span>High team engagement and alignment with project goals<\/span>Effective cross-team and cross-border collaboration<\/span>Key Deliverables:<\/b><\/span>Stable, scalable, and secure CI\/CD pipeline systems<\/span>Well-documented, reusable code and tools<\/span>Proactive monitoring and ing systems for infrastructure<\/span>Training and mentoring of junior engineers<\/span>Technical presentations and stakeholder demos<\/span>Keywords:<\/b><\/span>Python, Groovy, CI\/CD, Jenkins, GitLab, Automation, IaC, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Agile, Infrastructure, Observability, AWS, Build Systems, Security<\/span>Skills:<\/b><\/span>Python,Groovy,CI CD<\/span>About Company:<\/b><\/span>UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider.
