Additional requirements include: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic Life Support certification<\/li>\n<li>ACLS\/PALS is required within six months of hire.<\/li>\n<li>One year of experience preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What you will do<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Documents patient care given. * Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual\/psychosocial support needs.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluates learning needs of patient and\/or family and provides patient\/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.<\/li>\n<li>Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> About our Health System<br \/>\n       North Alabama Medical Center is a 263 bed hospital located in Florence, Alabama, and is part of , a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier\u00ae with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities from coast to coast.
