This includes compiling, harmonizing, developing, and disseminating key statistical indicators and predictive models to support evidence-based research and inform management decisions. Provide high-quality, timely statistics and data-driven insights that are crucial for guiding IsDB&#8217;s operational strategies and enhancing country-level dialogues. A core part of the role involves ensuring that the IsDB website is updated with the latest, high-quality data and analytical insights on the bank&#8217;s interventions and its member countries.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Additionally, the role develops and maintain robust databases, integrating big data technologies and advanced data analytics methods. It also involves promoting new data techniques, including machine learning, both within IsDB and across member countries, and coordinating with regional and international statistical agencies on global statistical initiatives.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Key Accountabilities<\/b><br \/>\n       Policy and Strategy Planning:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the Division&#8217;s annual work plans, programs and activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the IsDB Institute.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the development and effective implementation of the relevant frameworks and tools for the Economic Work under the Economic Research and Statistics programs of the IsDB Institute.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the effective risk management and country, vulnerability, and debt sustainability assessments of IsDB member countries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Academic and Professional Qualifications<\/b><br \/>\n       Bachelor&#8217;s degree in statistics, data science, programming, information management or related fields.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Minimum 8 years of experience in advanced economic analysis focusing on economic and developmental issues, of which 3 years in an international development institution or national statistical office.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Skills &#038; Necessary Knowledge<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced knowledge in descriptive, inferential, and advanced statistical applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to interpret and present statistical information in a user-friendly manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Data Collection and Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong understanding of the national accounts, balance of payments and government fiscal accounts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Good macroeconomic understanding of the relationships between variables, both within and across accounting systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of the principal sources and retrieval systems of economic and social development data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient in appropriate statistical software packages such as SPSS, STATA, R, PYTHON, Power BI, Tableau, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced skills in collecting data, synthesizing data and maintaining databases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced analytical thinking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive for Result.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Accurate and methodical.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>MS Office skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Languages<\/b><br \/>\n       English &#8211; Mandatory<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Arabic &#8211; Preferred<span class=\"br\"><\/span>French &#8211; Preferred<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position<\/p>\n<p><center><b><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.com.sa\/jobad\/sa7b82ffaaaf85cffd0dd3328a4e006125?affid=0852fd5db5a52cbcd75bf945aa534932\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a> <\/b><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Purpose: Undertake advanced statistical and data science work.
