This role involves managing the accounting function, overseeing budget planning and execution, monitoring financial reporting, and working closely with auditors and department heads to maintain financial integrity and operational efficiency.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance of all financial accounting activities with IFRS and internal standards.<\/li>\n<li>Regularly assess and recommend improvements to the Chart of Accounts in coordination with the Group CFO.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the posting of daily accounting entries and monthly\/annual closing processes.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise general ledger activity and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.<\/li>\n<li>Validate and process invoices with supporting documents to ensure accurate and prompt payments.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor accounts payable and receivable, optimizing efficiency and accuracy in payment and collection processes.<\/li>\n<li>Manage reconciliation between general ledger and sub-ledgers and resolve inconsistencies.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee cash, billing, and receivables reconciliations, ensuring timely recognition of revenues.<\/li>\n<li>Assess allowances for doubtful debts and initiate write-offs as per IFRS standards.<\/li>\n<li>Lead fixed asset register management, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and transfers.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the annual master budget (CAPEX, OPEX, STRATEX), ensuring departmental alignment and timely approvals.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor actual spending against budget, managing deviations with justifications and approvals as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and risks.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely responses and resolution of audit queries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master\u2019s or CPA\/ACCA certification is a plus).<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 8\u201310 years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG or a fast-paced commercial environment.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive knowledge of IFRS, budgeting, and financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of accounts payable\/receivable, general ledger operations, and fixed asset management.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience working with auditors and managing audit processes.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in budget consolidation and variance analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with ERP systems and financial tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.com.kw\/jobad\/kw86441d918347edc7b5f3cee6969b8f64?affid=0852fd5db5a52cbcd75bf945aa534932\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Manager with a strong background in FMCG to lead and oversee financial operations, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
