Join us.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Description<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Role Summary:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide leadership and direction to the Contracts Management and Commercial Management Teams;<\/li>\n<li>The Contracts\/Commercial Management function includes the oversight of the contract\/commercial deliverable requirements of the General Engineering Consultants (GECs) and Contractors, agreeing associated strategies, standards, procurement solutions and monitoring compliance by both the GEC\u2019s and Contractors of their contract requirements;<\/li>\n<li>Will work in association with all programme systems, covering the entire life cycle of project delivery, including project planning, design, tender, construction, maintenance, and handing over.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leadership for overall compliance of the processes and procedures necessary to deliver the Road Projects Department, identifying issues impacting compliance with successful delivery, and assisting in successful issue resolution;<\/li>\n<li>Highlight and address issues that could potentially impact successful programme\/project delivery are brought to the attention of the Head of Section;<\/li>\n<li>Oversight of GEC cost estimates and methods to review proposals for budget constraints and compliance;<\/li>\n<li>Oversight of current cost estimates and cash flow projections;<\/li>\n<li>Oversight of cost estimates with the budgets for each project and the Master Budget;<\/li>\n<li>Delivery of comprehensive reports, commercial and operational to the PWA;<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight and advice on contractual correspondence;<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight and advice on claims;<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight and advice on site instructions;<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight and advice on extensions of time;<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight and advice on payments;<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight and advice on GEC changes and Claims;<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight and advice on correspondence to the Tenders and Auctions Committees;<\/li>\n<li>Provide direction and guidance on procurement strategies;<\/li>\n<li>Manage the Tender process from issue to award;<\/li>\n<li>Provide advice in Staff Recruitment;<\/li>\n<li>Provide advice in Staff Training;<\/li>\n<li>Provide Contract and Commercial advice and guidance;<\/li>\n<li>Mentor staff;<\/li>\n<li>Provide Regional and Global expertise to assist Client\u2019s requirements;<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaboratively work with the Public Works Authority (PWA) counterparts to provide advice on compliance and agreement on matters in dispute;<\/li>\n<li>Collaboratively work with PWA in providing advice and support on commercial and contract issues;<\/li>\n<li>Interacts with the Corporate Regional and Global Offices to support PWA specific needs and to implement best international practices.
