The candidate will work as part of the Operations & Infrastructure (O&I) team to support and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our technology & operations organization.<\/span>The Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) team is part of Visa\u2019s Global Data Center Engineering and Operations (DCE&O) organization that is responsible for managing data center infrastructure capacity, deployments, operational tools, data quality, and maintenance supporting our enterprise data center systems. The team works closely with Data Center Facilities Engineering, Hardware Engineering, & Network Engineering to provide critical planning, analytical, and monitoring capabilities across our global data center footprint. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development and will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications. The candidate should be proficient in the following technology stack: React, JavaScript, C#, .NET Core, Hangfire, and SQL Server.<\/span>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>Develop and maintain web applications using React and JavaScript for the front-end.<\/span>Design and implement server-side logic using C# and .NET Core.<\/span>Integrate and manage background job processing using Hangfire.<\/span>Design, implement, and maintain databases using SQL Server.<\/span>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.<\/span>Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.<\/span>Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.<\/span>Troubleshoot and debug applications.<\/span>Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.<\/span>Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.<\/span>Architect, design, build, develop, test, and implement high-quality software applications supporting Operations, Infrastructure, and DCIM functions.<\/span>Conduct business and technical analysis, code reviews, unit testing, and produce technical documentation for new development, system enhancements, and production support.<\/span>Develop modifications and corrections to existing software, including debugging routines, and regularly check-in for continuous integration of systems and\/or software applications.<\/span>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, systems analysts, project managers, QA, and other developers, to implement business requirements using the latest tools and technology.<\/span>Work under direct supervision to ensure on-time delivery of projects and production support plans, and coordinate with stakeholders regarding status, technical issues, and creative solutions.<\/span>Prepare test data, conduct various levels of testing (unit, system, integration), and collaborate with business partners on user acceptance testing.<\/span>Troubleshoot and optimize data quality and performance issues and participate in project team meetings, effectively communicating across technology team boundaries.<\/span>Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to drive and facilitate development of requirements, specifications, and use cases for assigned projects.<\/span>Participate in and perform governance-related tasks, such as policy and procedure adherence, key controls, etc.<\/span>Perform other related duties as assigned.<\/span>This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
