{"id":7205,"date":"2024-12-01T11:05:13","date_gmt":"2024-12-01T11:05:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/senior-backend-developer-node-js\/"},"modified":"2024-12-01T11:05:13","modified_gmt":"2024-12-01T11:05:13","slug":"senior-backend-developer-node-js","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/senior-backend-developer-node-js\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Backend Developer &#8211; Node.js"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As a Senior Backend Developer within DAZN&#8217;s Technology Commerce team, DAZN is seeking a talented, The Node.JS &#038; AWS Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications using Node.JS, API&#8217;s and AWS technologies.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>This role is full-time, based in our Hyderabad, India office, 5 days a week WFO.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Benefits include access to DAZN, 24 days&#8217; leave, annual performance-related bonus, best in class medical insurance, learning and development resources, opportunity for flexible working, and access to our DAZN OTT app for free, internal speaker series and events.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to build and maintain cloud-based applications using<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> and AWS. * Write clean, efficient, Secure and well-documented code that is maintainable and scalable. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement new features and functionalities for existing applications.<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement solutions to address complex problems in a scalable and efficient manner.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and address performance issues and optimize cloud-based applications for speed and scalability.<\/li>\n<li>Work with various AWS services, including but not limited to Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.<\/li>\n<li>Implement CI\/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency free from vulnerabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing, NodeJS, Security and recommend best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of architectural and design patterns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in computer science or related field.<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of experience in<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> and AWS development. * Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and collaboration skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with AWS services, including but not limited to Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with serverless computing, microservices architecture, and containerization.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI\/CD pipelines and automation.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum team.<\/li>\n<li>Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> At DAZN, we bring ambition to life.
