The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economic modeling, financial analysis, and data interpretation, along with excellent communication and analytical skills.; in order to support Commercial &#038; Downstream to increase \/ growth \/ enhancement of all business assets portfolio.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>The position will act in accordance with the Group&#8217;s Mission, Vision, Values &#038; Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani&#8217;s government &#038; other legal justification&#8217;s, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Main tasks and responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct economic evaluations and financial analyses to screen and assess the viability of projects, investments, and business opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain complex economic models of any existing or new business to support decision-making processes and strategic planning initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and interpret financial data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to identify risks, opportunities, and key performance indicators.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders based on economic analyses and findings.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including asset management, finance, operations, and business development, to provide economic insights and support project planning and execution.<\/li>\n<li>Use of financial modeling software, such as Excel to prepare business case economics, and familiarity with statistical analysis tools.<\/li>\n<li>Interpret complex data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.<\/li>\n<li>Stay informed about regulatory changes, market dynamics, and industry trends that may impact economic evaluations and financial performance.<\/li>\n<li>Present complex and creative economic concepts and findings in a clear and concise manner.<\/li>\n<li>Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and contribute to the professional development of the team.<\/li>\n<li>Work effectively in a collaborative team environment and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key interactions<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Internal: Commercial &#038; Downstream Assets and Function<span class=\"br\"><\/span>External: Contractors, vendors and providers.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Notable Working Conditions.
