{"id":71117,"date":"2025-05-08T22:59:23","date_gmt":"2025-05-08T22:59:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/outreach-officer\/"},"modified":"2025-05-08T22:59:23","modified_gmt":"2025-05-08T22:59:23","slug":"outreach-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/outreach-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"Outreach Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Category: Culture &#038; Community<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Description:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>KEY RESULT AREAS:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Stakeholder Engagement and Partnership Support: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under the supervision of the Outreach Program Manager, assist in identifying and engaging key stakeholders, and local partners to support WISH&#8217;s health initiatives and outreach activities.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain relationships with partners and help gather feedback to maintain strong relationships with external and local stakeholders and build a network of local long-term supporters.<\/li>\n<li>Support the development and maintenance of stakeholders&#8217; database.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Communication and Social Media: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the creation of content for public relations and social media channels, promoting WISH&#8217;s outreach activities and events to a broader audience.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in coordination with the Social Media agency and the website agency on any follow up action points<\/li>\n<li>Work with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging that enhances WISH&#8217;s visibility and resonates with the target audience<\/li>\n<li>Support the development of talking points, briefings in response to media and TV interviews.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Resource Mobilization (Fundraising and Sponsorship): <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Help identify opportunities for resource mobilization that align with WISH&#8217;s mission, under the guidance of the Outreach Program Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing fundraising materials and sponsorship proposals to attract potential donors and partners for WISH&#8217;s outreach programs (standardized presentations, leaflets, digital content).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Logistical and Administrative Support: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide logistical and administrative support in organizing outreach events, workshops, and activities, ensuring smooth execution.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with event setup, coordination, and follow-up, collecting feedback to help refine future events and activities.<\/li>\n<li>Other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>Support in note taking, meeting minutes and support following up of actions points.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and evaluate outreach program effectiveness and provide regular reports.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach initiatives with organizational objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and communications with partners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &#038; EXPERIENCE: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School &#038; 2-5 years of relevant full time work experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, event coordination, fundraising, or a related field, preferably in the healthcare, nonprofit, or international development sectors.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to identify, engage, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners to support outreach initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience in content creation for social media, public relations, and marketing materials.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with managing social media platforms, coordinating with agencies, and ensuring consistent messaging.<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of fundraising strategies, sponsorship proposal development, and donor engagement.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in logistical planning, event organization, and administrative support for workshops, outreach programs, and networking activities.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks, take meeting minutes, follow up on action points, and maintain stakeholder databases.
