In this specific position support to develop and administer business development plans and processes to generate new\/ additional business, maximize profit and grow market share in line with business strategy, financial objectives, Group guidelines and policies<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Join us in connecting people and improving lives<span class=\"br\"><\/span>In this Business Development Manager position<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will support administration of business development plans and processes to achieve targeted customer growth and retention rate, revenue targets and budgets.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will develop new business and maximize exposure for DPDHL amongst targeted prospects<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will have to use information and insights from market studies and feasibility studies to assess market potential<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will have to identify new business development opportunities and initiate contact with prospects<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will have to identify prospective customer needs and matches these with DHL\u2019s services<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will have to pursue leads, conduct pre-proposal visitations, prepare proposals, and discuss terms of sale to close<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will develop relationships with prospects and potential key accounts<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will have to initiate new business relationships with non-buying accounts that have been targeted by the company<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will have to coordinate for meeting customer requests and sell services that are being promoted.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will have coordinate sales efforts with inside sales and provide flow of data on account competitors and suppliers to product management<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will have to identify problems that may not be clear in own area of authority and modify work methods accordingly without the benefit of defined procedures.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will have to explain facts, practices, policies, etc. to both internal and external parties adhering to narrowly defined procedures, standards and guidelines.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Now, here\u2019s what we need from you<span class=\"br\"><\/span>More than 6 years of experience within the same field.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Excellent communicator in English, both written and oral.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>We offer:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunities in a global company where you can contribute your ideas and skills to move towards our shared goals.<\/li>\n<li>Possible further career development<\/li>\n<li>Competitive salary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Why join DHL Global Forwarding?<span class=\"br\"><\/span>We are part of Deutsche Post DHL, the world\u2019s leading logistics provider with operations in over 220 countries.
