{"id":67979,"date":"2025-04-30T04:59:36","date_gmt":"2025-04-30T04:59:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/specialist-frontend-developer\/"},"modified":"2025-04-30T04:59:36","modified_gmt":"2025-04-30T04:59:36","slug":"specialist-frontend-developer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/specialist-frontend-developer\/","title":{"rendered":"Specialist Frontend Developer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Job title<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Specialist Frontend Developer<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Grade<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Stream<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Commercial &#038; Downstream &#8211; RPI<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Function<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>PTC- IDS &#8211; Information Management &#038; Digital Delivery<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Location<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Oman &#8211; Sohar<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Budget control<span class=\"br\"><\/span>*OPEX and\/or CAPEX and\/or Revenue amount as relevant*<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Reporting to<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Manager Information Management &#038; Digital<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Direct reports<span class=\"br\"><\/span>0<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Purpose:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Execute the technical development and administration of frontend applications under delegated authority from Manager, Information Management &#038; Digital by: (1) Focusing on developing and maintain applications (2) Automating and improving systems and (3) Providing workflow and integration solutions; in order to support the continuity of the business.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>The position will act in accordance with the Group&#8217;s Mission, Vision, Values &#038; Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines, and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani&#8217;s government &#038; other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Main tasks and responsibilities:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>UI\/UX Design and Implementation: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications that adhere to design specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Implement design mockups and ensure consistency in UI elements and interactions across applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Automation and System Enhancement: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop scripts and programs to automate tasks, improve system functionality, and reduce manual intervention.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities across the development lifecycle to automate processes and tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Workflow Optimization and Integration: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and implement workflows to streamline content management processes and optimize efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize tools like SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Flow (Power Automate), and Nintex workflows for efficient workflow management and integration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Application Development and Data Visualization: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create and integrate canvas apps, model-driven apps, and portals using PowerApps for enhanced functionality.<\/li>\n<li>Design and develop web-based reports with interactive features and data visualization techniques to present data effectively.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor application performance metrics, conduct performance testing, and optimize responsiveness and load times.<\/li>\n<li>Gather user feedback, analyze analytics data, and propose innovative solutions to improve frontend development and user experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Mobile App Development: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native or Flutter.<\/li>\n<li>Implement responsive UI\/UX designs that work across multiple devices.<\/li>\n<li>Optimize performance and ensure smooth user interactions.<\/li>\n<li>Deploy and maintain apps on App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> AI-Driven Application Development: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Integrate AI-powered APIs.<\/li>\n<li>Build chatbot interfaces and AI-driven UI features.<\/li>\n<li>Develop AI-enhanced search.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key Interactions<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Internal: Assurance, Finance, Commercial | Downstream PTC<span class=\"br\"><\/span>External: Specialized Contractors, Vendors &#038; Suppliers<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Notable Working Conditions.
