Autodesk’s Marketing Experiences Platform, Education team is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our globally distributed team.<\/span>You will be tasked to develop robust, and performant websites and services. Our drive is to help the education community thrive and most importantly enable them to make anything. The MX Education team faces a variety of unique and interesting challenges such as: developing serverless applications, creating engaging end-user experiences, digging into low-level performance details, and streamlining processes. To be successful in this role, you will need a solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming, JavaScript modules, modern front-end frameworks, and a passion for the latest cloud technologies. This is your chance to work with a team of experienced individuals, participate in a fun and engaging workplace culture, and have your work seen and used by millions.<\/span>Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>Architect and develop new features<\/span>Develop robust, and performant websites and services<\/span>Focus on quality, including writing unit\/integration\/end-to-end tests and refactoring when appropriate<\/span>Break apart complex initiatives into manageable chunks<\/span>Work closely with architects, technical leads, product owners, and others to drive towards a common vision<\/span>Lead and mentor team to follow software engineering standards, including efficiency, quality, security, resiliency, and other best practices<\/span>Design and build solutions, frameworks, automation, and orchestration for a broad range of applications<\/span>Provide experience and support for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects<\/span>Collaborate with a distributed team and stakeholders<\/span>Be a passionate and empathetic advocate of architecture, design, and software engineering principles<\/span>Minimum Qualifications<\/b><\/span>BA\/BS degree or equivalent practical experience (MS in Computer Science or a related degree)<\/span>Experience public cloud service platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and DynamoDB<\/span>Solid experience in serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda<\/span>5+ years of relevant industry experience in React, Node.js, Next.js, and Typescript<\/span>5+ years of relevant industry experience in Javascript (or similar frameworks), PlayWright, and CatchPoint.<\/span>Advanced experience of leveraging industry standard tools like Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, Splunk, Dynatrace, DAST, Synk and PagerDuty.<\/span>Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders<\/span>Experience with Scrum and Agile development processes and methodologies<\/span>Preferred Qualifications<\/b><\/span>Experience working with AEM, Contentful or other CMS technologies<\/span>Advanced knowledge in architecting AWS based systems<\/span>#LI-SJ1<\/span>Learn More<\/span>About Autodesk
