We are looking for Engineers with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for delivering creative solutions for complex problems on an unprecedented scale. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment to deliver world class mission critical systems, this may be the career opportunity for you!<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Key job responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.<\/li>\n<li>Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.<\/li>\n<li>Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage\/use.<\/li>\n<li>Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.<\/li>\n<li>Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.<\/li>\n<li>Translate functional requirements into robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the full development cycle, end-to-end, from design, implementation, and testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools.<\/li>\n<li>Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor junior development engineers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>&#8211; 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience<br \/>\n       &#8211; 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience<br \/>\n       &#8211; Experience programming with at least one software programming language<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>&#8211; 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience<br \/>\n       &#8211; Bachelor&#8217;s degree in computer science or equivalent<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
