We\u2019re creating the world\u2019s most effective financial crime fighting network!<\/span>Exciting Opportunity: Senior Software Developer (Data Integration)<\/span>We’re seeking talented Senior Software Developers to join our vibrant team. In this role, you’ll design, implement and support technical solutions that will migrate data from our customers core banking system into the Verafin application. Each financial institution could be using one of the 100+ available core banking systems.<\/span>What You’ll Do:<\/b><\/span>Implement data normalization and ingestion solutions in AWS using Postgres, Java, Scala and Unix Utilities<\/span>Define a strategy for data flows to meet the requirements of the Verafin application<\/span>Excellent customer service skills and the ability explain technical solutions and issues to non-technical customers<\/span>What We’re Looking For:<\/b><\/span>A university degree or college diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience<\/span>2-5 years development experience is required for this role<\/span>Strong analytical skills for complex and creative problem solving<\/span>Experience in object-oriented software development (Java)<\/span>Experience with Database technologies (PostgresSQL)<\/span>Automated testing<\/span>Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; able to work closely with team members<\/span>You have a ‘Customer first’ attitude – always putting the customer’s needs first<\/span>What Success Looks Like:<\/b><\/span>Meeting defined Service Level Agreements (SLA\u2019s)<\/span>Understanding the goals of the team while using problem solving skills<\/span>Developing cloud-based services that have good uptime, health, and security<\/span>Producing clean and efficient code<\/span>Consistently iterating on coding practices for continuous improvement<\/span>Growth Opportunities:<\/span>Technical leadership path including Software Developer Specialist, Lead Developer, and Architect<\/span>Why Nasdaq Verafin?<\/span>Innovative Solutions: Be part of a team that’s at the forefront of financial crime management technology, in a rapidly evolving industry.<\/span>Impactful Work: Help financial institutions protect themselves and their customers from fraud and other financial crimes such as elder abuse, human trafficking and money laundering.<\/span>Dynamic Growth: Join a company that’s expanding quickly, offering you endless opportunities to grow and advance.<\/span>This job posting closes on May 13th at 11:59pm Newfoundland Time Zone.<\/span>This position can be located in St. John\u2019s or Toronto, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 2 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.<\/span>Come as You Are<\/span>Nasdaq is an equal opportunity employer.
