This role will be essential in providing financial insights, driving central initiatives, and ensuring cost control within the outstanding landscape of the gaming and betting sector.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Are You Our Next Star Player?<span class=\"br\"><\/span>The Group Functions Finance Business Partnering team at the world&#8217;s largest online gaming and betting company provides unmatched opportunities for personal development and career progression. The team works closely with senior C-Suite leaders in the Group to support their strategic execution within Group Functions and across the Divisions.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Why We Need You<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>As Finance Business Partner, you will: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with a member of the Group Functions Leadership Team (LT).<\/li>\n<li>Act as the initial Finance contact for that LT member and their team, reporting on and providing insight into the current &#038; future drivers of cost.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with them on all central initiatives within their area.<\/li>\n<li>Gain a deep understanding of the function&#8217;s structure, activities, and cost breakdowns to provide valuable insights to collaborators and contribute to decision making.<\/li>\n<li>Provide informative and forward-looking performance reporting packs that identify risks &#038; opportunities to budget targets through proactive analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Be directly responsible for the forecasting and cost adherence of the Group Functions element of the LT&#8217;s cost base.<\/li>\n<li>Nurture close working relationships with Divisional finance colleagues in order to provide a Group-wide view of the LT members remit as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Foster cost control throughout the field of LT expenses, and offer commercial scrutiny to subject areas developed by the LT.<\/li>\n<li>Review and approve LT budgets, including headcount and non-headcount expenses, while providing visibility through insightful reporting and commentary for better spend control.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the month-end close process for your function by being the link between the financial reporting team and the business owners. You will review all significant variances for area, analyzing key variances in advance of close.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously find opportunities to improve key controls and streamline processes, automating and innovating where possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>We Are Looking For Someone Who:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Is a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Either has previous experience as a Finance Business Partner or has Managerial finance experience.<\/li>\n<li>Has a strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.<\/li>\n<li>Takes pride and shows passion in all deliverables assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Possesses outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
