Ensuring process alignment and improvement between Field Services Operations team and Supply Chain teams<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Your Role \u2013 Magic happens when you bring great people together!<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Commodity Strategy:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> \u00b7 Ensure the application of the commodity strategy and align on the key supplier panel.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Propose productivity actions (negotiations, change of suppliers, quality value engineering) within the designated perimeter, consistent with the commodity strategy.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Identify modern technologies and suppliers and characterize gaps between needs and the current supplier panel.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Provide local market intelligence and new product launch requirements to build sourcing strategies.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Share key choices with commodity managers and cross-functional teams. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supplier Management:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> \u00b7 Manage supplier consultation and selection according to the commodity strategy.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Manage supply qualification; negotiate and manage contracts\/agreements with suppliers (price, delivery, terms and conditions).<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Monitor and ensure competitive material costs to meet product target costs (design\/redesign to cost).<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Obtain and analyze supplier quotes.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Act as the first escalation level for supplier crisis management.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Address and resolve supplier quality of service and business continuity issues.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Support the Plant Procurement Manager and Procurement Group Manager on Supplier Relationship Management strategy (sponsorship, connect to partner, business reviews).<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Cost and Quality Management:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Participate in cost estimation.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Implement quality and cost reduction objectives related to action plans and productivity programs.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Contribute to the procurement database update by providing necessary information to commodity managers, supplier leaders, and plants. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sourcing and Development:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> \u00b7 Develop new products at suppliers.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Scout for new suppliers be added to the approved suppliers list.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Develop existing suppliers to improve their capabilities and increase their bandwidth.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Lead localization and effective regionalization projects.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Qualifications<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Qualifications:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Bachelor\u2019s degree in mechanical engineering.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Minimum 2 to 3 years Direct Procurement experience<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Minimum 5 to 7 years\u2019 experience in manufacturing<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Experience in costing and has a proven record for cost saving projects is a plus<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Experience in procuring fabricated components (sheet metal parts, machining parts, forging, and casted material) is a plus.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Excellent command of the English language.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Proficient user of MS Office.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Ability to collaborate with a team.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Adherence to principles and values.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Learning and researching skills.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Adaptability and responsiveness to change.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Skills:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Ability to navigate in a complex environment and organization.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Strong networking skills to connect with people in E&#038;T and Solution.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Ability to build strong relationships with different teams within the plant.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Capability to influence, convince, and drive positive change management.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Full accountability and leadership in managing end-to-end governance.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Adaptability in interactions with different stakeholders and peers.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Strong procurement skills (negotiation, supplier relationship, supplier base development, quality, lead time, etc.).<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Profile:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Customer-centric approach.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Strategic thinking.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Cross-cultural awareness.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Decision-making skills.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Problem-solving and analytical skills.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Efficient communication skills (written and verbal).<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Fluent spoken and written communication in English<\/p>\n<p><center><b><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.com.eg\/jobad\/eg0ef3d22782b0b0b9039bd330ef74a011?affid=0852fd5db5a52cbcd75bf945aa534932\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a> <\/b><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who are we and what we stand for?
