We\u2019re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.<\/span>Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>\u00b7 Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Protection & Metering Diagrams, and Load list.<\/span>\u00b7 Prepare Electrical equipment layout<\/span>\u00b7 Prepare OHL Route Layout<\/span>\u00b7 Experience with PLSCCAD for OHL Design is preferable<\/span>\u00b7 Conduct Power System Studies using ETAP\/Digsilent software, including short circuit analysis load flow analysis and Dynamic Motor starting<\/span>\u00b7 Experience with Dynamic Power System Simulation using ETAP\/Digsilent software for Wind and Solar and Conventional Power System is preferable<\/span>\u00b7 Develop Protection & Metering SLDs for HV\/MV\/LV systems<\/span>\u00b7 Knowledge of Protection Setting Calculation is preferable<\/span>\u00b7 Perform calculations and design for Earthing and Lightning Protection systems (shall be familiar with IEEE-80 standard)<\/span>\u00b7 Design and calculate lighting systems according to relevant standards (Knowledge of Lighting software like DIALux, AGI 32 preferable)<\/span>\u00b7 Perform HV\/MV\/LV cable sizing calculation<\/span>\u00b7 Perform Equipment Sizing calculations e.g. Transformer, Switchgear, Emergency Diesel Generator, UPS & Battery Charger (shall be familiar with IEEE 485, IEEE 1115)<\/span>\u00b7 Knowledge of Hazardous area classification and Equipment Selection<\/span>\u00b7 Knowledge of Electrical System for Upstream oil and gas is preferable<\/span>\u00b7 Size electrical equipment and prepare technical specifications, data sheets, and Material Requisitions (MR)<\/span>\u00b7 Review vendor offers and participate in Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE)<\/span>\u00b7 Concept engineering development of Substation equipment layouts<\/span>\u00b7 Concept Development for Power System requirement<\/span>\u00b7 Develop Material take-offs for Electrical bulk item<\/span>\u00b7 Lead a team of engineers and designers throughout project execution, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines<\/span>\u00b7 Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions<\/span>\u00b7 Familiarity with 3D modeling for electrical layouts and systems (Knowledge of 3D model review softwares like Navisworks, E3D etc. preferable)<\/span>\u00b7 Insightful knowledge of various International standards like IEC, IEEE, NEC, NEMA, NFPA, API, IS etc.<\/span>\u00b7 Conversant of HSE requirements & safety studies viz. E-Hazop, EMC study, , HAZID etc.<\/span>\u00b7 Team player, with excellent organizational, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills<\/span>Qualifications<\/b><\/span>About You<\/b><\/span>To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:<\/span>\u00b7 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical\/Power Engineering from recognized University \/ Institution , Master Degree is plus .<\/span>\u00b7 More than 8 years of rich experience in Electrical and Power Engineering in oil and gas sector<\/span>\u00b7 Proficient in preparing electrical and Power design documentation .<\/span>\u00b7 Strong knowledge of Electrical Power system, HV\/MV\/LV system Protections, Electrical Specification and Data sheets , earthing, lightning protection, Cable sizing, lighting design, equipment layout , vendor offer review and preparing Technical Bid Evaluation report and hazardous area classification<\/span>\u00b7 Excellent communication and leadership skills<\/span>\u00b7 Familiarity with electrical design software and 3D model review tools is preferable<\/span>Moving forward together<\/span>We\u2019re committed to building a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong, can bring themselves, and are heard.
