With a focus on specific verticals, our solutions cater to the diverse needs of industries of all sizes.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Join us in re-imagining the world by designing smarter solutions for tomorrow.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Join our Digital Industries Customer Service Department as the Siemens Cranes Service Commissioning specialist and Project Engineer and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Your Role \u2013 International, Challenging And Future-Oriented!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advance Level knowledge of Siemens Variable Frequency Drive products and applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide advanced technical support for Siemens VFD systems with a focus on crane applications, ensuring seamless engineering, commissioning, and troubleshooting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver tailored solutions that address unique customer requirements in industries such as cranes, water, oil &#038; gas, and petrochemicals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as the on-site technical representative for Siemens, attending commissioning meetings and leading the end-to-end commissioning process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage commissioning teams, ensuring adherence to performance metrics, including safety, schedules, quality standards, and budget requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate and verify commissioning results, updating site-specific documentation and closing out any open points.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with service operations teams to resolve system service requests, incidents, and escalations within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Independently handle complex technical issues and mentor less experienced engineers as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain detailed records of service activities and prepare comprehensive reports for management and clients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Stay current on Siemens VFD products and industry trends through ongoing training and professional development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with customers and internal teams to identify and implement opportunities for system optimization and enhancements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assess and manage on-site risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, quality benchmarks, and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring strict adherence to all safety protocols in VFD system activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Your Qualifications And Skills \u2013 Digital And Solid!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>5\u20138 years of hands-on experience with Siemens Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) systems, specifically in crane applications such as RTG (Rubber Tyred Gantry), STS (Ship-to-Shore), and EOT (Electric Overhead Traveling) cranes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Exposure to the water, oil &#038; gas, and petrochemical sectors is a strong advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Comprehensive knowledge of Siemens VFD systems, covering engineering, configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Certification in Siemens Sinamics VFD systems is preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in commissioning processes and creating detailed quality service reports and documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrated experience managing commissioning teams and coordinating large-scale projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to lead by example, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and performance standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Certification in Siemens Sinamics Variable frequency Drives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and time-management skills to work effectively under pressure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and team members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Commitment to adhering to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with clients, teams, and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> What else do you need to know?<span class=\"br\"><\/span>As a world leader in developing and producing the most advanced engineering technologies, we improve lives and further human achievements worldwide, while also protecting the climate &#8211; all thanks to our employees.
