The team sits within the Finance organization and comprises nine teams with more than 250 colleagues across the globe.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>QATV is the critical First Line Testing for key BCBS 239 reports and quality assurance and issue management across Finance. We will continue to enhance our methodology, deliver enterprise-wide frameworks, and drive controlled and consistent results with our partners.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>This is an exciting time to join QATV with growth plans and business critical deliverables across all regions.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>The Role and Candidate:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>The Fin Solutions Sr. Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach\/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal\/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and\/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions, including:<\/li>\n<li>Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions and locations<\/li>\n<li>Assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance<\/li>\n<li>Plays a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and starts for global Finance processes<\/li>\n<li>Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into finance processes and applications<\/li>\n<li>Resolves complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines or processes.<\/li>\n<li>Manages one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and considered analytical or procedural &#8220;expert&#8221; representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>May supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other duties and functions as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.<\/li>\n<li>Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and \/or other team members.<\/li>\n<li>Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm&#8217;s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5-8+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred<\/li>\n<li>Excellent relational and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficient Microsoft Office skills<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Excel skills with working knowledge of Power BI a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced SharePoint Skills with utilizing Lists, Power BI and Forms to facilitate automation a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Education:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s\/University degree<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key Skills:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recognized technical authority for an area within the business.<\/li>\n<li>Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to support concurrent execution on a portfolio of high-quality deliverables according to strict timetables.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement and innovative solution to complex problems.<\/li>\n<li>Data analysis and validation<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of BCBS 239 principles and regulatory reporting<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of financial transactions and reporting standard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Job Family Group: Finance<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Job Family: Fin Solutions Dsgn &#038; Implement<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Time Type: Full time<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Citigroup Inc. and its subsidiaries (&#8220;Citi\u201d) invite all qualified interested applicants to apply for career opportunities.
