{"id":56138,"date":"2025-03-27T09:59:28","date_gmt":"2025-03-27T09:59:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/out-patient-messenger\/"},"modified":"2025-03-27T09:59:28","modified_gmt":"2025-03-27T09:59:28","slug":"out-patient-messenger","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/out-patient-messenger\/","title":{"rendered":"Out-Patient Messenger"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Purpose and Scope of the Job:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Under direct supervision of pharmacists, pharmacy messenger is responsible for safe medication distribution and handling all over the hospital.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Main Duties and Responsibilities\/Performance Standards: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Greet and welcome patients, ensuring they took the Queue no.; while waiting for their turn.<\/li>\n<li>Distributes medication to all clinical areas as per the workflow assigned in the outpatient medication.<\/li>\n<li>Answers calls coming for the unit during busy times and ensure transfer right information for pharmacists. Messengers are not allowed to provide any information when they receive calls.<\/li>\n<li>Delivers and receives medications from main pharmacy store and outpatient pharmacy.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for expiry date checks as assigned by pharmacist on duty for all items that they receive and arrange.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for unit organization and cleanliness and overlooks housekeepers when cleaning shelves in the inpatient medication management unit.<\/li>\n<li>Delivers or receives documents related to the unit activities as assigned by pharmacists.<\/li>\n<li>Scans &#038; photocopies documents when needed.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures safety standards (occupational and patient safety) are compiled.<\/li>\n<li>Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Direct Reporting Authority.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures quality and patient safety practices are followed<\/li>\n<li>Provides or promotes people centered care<\/li>\n<li>Promotes inclusive health by providing equitable and accessible care to patients and families with special needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Qualifications, Competencies and Skills:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Education: At least High School Certificate<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Experience: One-year experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Language: Preferred Proficiency in Arabic and English Languages.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Computer Proficiency: Good computer skills<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Performance Competencies: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Initiative and willingness to learn and improve their knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Organization skills.<\/li>\n<li>Punctuality and High Ethics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Principle Working Relationships and Remarks <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pharmacists and Nurses<\/li>\n<li>Housekeepers, Storekeepers and Messengers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Other Preferences:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preferably local with valid and transferable visa in Kuwait<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.com.kw\/jobad\/kw92e31971a40b0ab75ea2cacef801d9ac?affid=0852fd5db5a52cbcd75bf945aa534932\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Purpose and Scope of the Job: Under direct supervision of pharmacists, pharmacy messenger is responsible for safe medication distribution and handling all over the hospital.
