We are growing our company and the team with the smartest people in the world.<\/span>We are looking for extraordinary Software Engineers to develop and productize NVIDIA’s DRIVE OS software. As a member of NVIDIA’s Solution Engineering team, you will adapt DRIVE OS solutions to various car platforms equipped with different sensors. We are looking for a Senior System Software Engineer with strong experience in Linux\/QNX\/Android operating system, Device Drivers development, virtualization, and ARM architecture<\/span>What you will be doing:<\/b><\/span>Architecture, development, and enhancement of native\/para-virtualized Linux\/QNX device drivers<\/span>Developing\/Designing\/Debugging Android HALs<\/span>Solve complex system issues on Linux\/Android\/QNX OS<\/span>Lead the architecture discussions for SW components and interface with customers to support DRIVE software solutions.<\/span>Continuously evolve and support requirements gathering process and traceability flow.<\/span>Actively coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to meet customer’s requirements and to drive complex issues to closure.<\/span>Participate in architectural explorations which include feasibility studies, safety evaluations and data analysis.<\/span>What we need to see:<\/b><\/span>BS\/MS or equivalent experience.<\/span>3+ years of overall experience and preferably with 1+ years of automotive industry experience.<\/span>Strong understanding of QNX\/Linux\/Android operating system and hands-on experience with QNX\/Linux device driver development<\/span>Strong C\/C++ programming and debugging skills<\/span>In-depth understanding of ARM processor architecture fundamentals<\/span>Background in embedded software development and deep knowledge of product development lifecycle.<\/span>Exposure to functional safety architecture to meet ISO26262 standard would be a plus<\/span>Effective written and verbal communication regardless of audience or issue complexity.<\/span>Android Automotive\/Android HAL development experience<\/span>Ways to stand out from the crowd:<\/b><\/span>Extensive device driver development experience<\/span>Experience on display standards like HDMI\/DP and software stack like DRM\/KMS would be a plus<\/span>NVIDIA is committed to fostering a diverse work environment and proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
