{"id":5264,"date":"2024-11-23T09:01:08","date_gmt":"2024-11-23T09:01:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/drilling-monitoring-engineer\/"},"modified":"2024-11-23T09:01:08","modified_gmt":"2024-11-23T09:01:08","slug":"drilling-monitoring-engineer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/drilling-monitoring-engineer\/","title":{"rendered":"Drilling Monitoring Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for ambitious Drilling Monitoring Engineers to provide operations support in real-time drilling operations for one of the leading companies in Kuwait.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Scope:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Responsible to handle and support 3 major sections of operations &#8211; Pre-Well Planning, Drilling Operation support &#038; Post Well Reporting for O&#038;G wells simultaneously.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Role \/ Responsibility: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pre-Well Planning phase- Prepare Hydraulics, Torque &#038; Drag Plots (road maps) and compare Planned Vs Actual data to identify deviation.<\/li>\n<li>Drilling Operation support &#8211; Proactive monitoring and QC of ML, LWD, DD, Wireline, Completion data.<\/li>\n<li>Compile, analyses and deliver information in timely manner for decision making.<\/li>\n<li>Consolidate Bit, BHA details and track performance.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and track Real time ECD vs planned, hole cleaning trends.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Daily report and Distribution.<\/li>\n<li>Track and measure various KPI designed by stake holders, routinely share this information.<\/li>\n<li>Near real time analysis for rig performance, NPT, ILT tracking and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Post Well Analysis- includes statistical analysis of rig performance, NPT, ILT tracking and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain Tripping Speed Analysis, Bit records.<\/li>\n<li>Completion of all required training per given timelines.<\/li>\n<li>Must understand and comply with all QHSE policies of Weatherford.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Skill and Knowledge: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate skills related to problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, root-cause analysis, KPI optimization and team collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate report-writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to calmly manage crisis situations, Ability to work with minimum supervision<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualification:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduate in Engineering or Equivalent Degree o Master&#8217;s degree in petroleum or Geology with relevant domain experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Min 4+ years&#8217; experience in RTOCs with 4+ years of Mud logging \/ Drilling Engineer work experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Work Environment:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rotation 6 weeks \/ 3 weeks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Schedule- 12 Hrs. \/ day (day and night) 7 Days\/Week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Pleasant indoor working environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.com.kw\/jobad\/kwea6382201cb089380a4ae8cde6b6af53?affid=0852fd5db5a52cbcd75bf945aa534932\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for ambitious Drilling Monitoring Engineers to provide operations support in real-time drilling operations for one of the leading companies in Kuwait.
