We are seeking passionate and skilled Clinical\/Educational\/Counselling Psychologists to join our dynamic and growing mental health team. If you have experience working with neurodivergence, particularly in assessing and diagnosing ADHD and ASD in children, adolescents, and adults, we would love to hear from you.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>The successful candidate will be a passionate and effective team worker with excellent analytical, assessment and therapy skills, highly motivated, organised and efficient and committed to providing the highest quality evidenced based mental health care to clients attending Centric Mental Health.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Benefits of working with Centric Mental Health:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Health &#038; Wellness Subsidy: Contribution towards gym membership and more.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Health Insurance: Comprehensive coverage to keep you and your family healthy.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Professional Growth: Opportunities for advancement within a supportive environment.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>CPD: Ongoing support for your career growth.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>EAP: Access to confidential advice and support.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Sick Leave: Up to 2 weeks paid sick leave after probation.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Discounted GP Visits: For employees and immediate family at Centric Health Practices.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Birthday Day Off<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Maternity Leave<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Paternity Leave<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Flexible working<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Specific Job Details:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Location: Dublin, Baggot Street<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Contract: Permanent Full-Time<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Working hours: 9:00-18:00<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Salary: Depending on experience<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Start date: As soon as possible<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Key Responsibilities can include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct thorough clinical and diagnostic assessments, including ADHD and ASD, in line with best practice guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver timely and satisfactory assessment reports.<\/li>\n<li>Provide psychological therapies, interventions and supports across a range of issues in primary care and corporate mental health settings.<\/li>\n<li>Innovate and enhance services to promote psychological well-being.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with team members and other healthcare professionals.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to professional competence and clinical governance principles.<\/li>\n<li>Stay updated with the latest research and CPD related to clinical work.<\/li>\n<li>Manage time effectively to meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Use supervision effectively to support clinical development, promote excellent standards of care, and ensure safe clinical practice.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise Assistant Psychologists where required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications and Experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A university degree or higher diploma\/conversion course obtained with first or second class honours in which Psychology was a major subject (QQI level 8 equivalent).<\/li>\n<li>A post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) in Clinical, Educational or Counselling Psychology, or an equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health. Candidates are required to submit a copy of their Department of Health Validation with their application where qualifications were obtained outside the Republic of Ireland<\/li>\n<li>At least 60 days of supervised clinical placements or post-qualification supervised work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated competence in providing Psychological services appropriate to a Primary Care setting.<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in assessing and diagnosing ADHD and ASD.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent administration and organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team and a willingness to share ideas and learn from others.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent English (Level B2 Advanced or above).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Desirable:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chartered Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated interest in and passion for the relevant care group, such as membership of the PSI Special Interest Group in Neurodiversity, Autism, etc.<\/li>\n<li>The above Job Description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all duties involved.
