We are looking for a proven, skilled, End User Support Engineer who possesses strong Technical and interpersonal skills to help us deliver on our GTS shared goals. Individual will focus on providing all aspects of technical support including desktop, mobile, good understanding overall Microsoft 365 suite technologies and AV needs to State Street executives, their executive assistants, and our Board of Directors. Individual should be able to work efficiently with teammates to deliver on their goals leveraging modern tools, technologies, and processes through simplification and automation while always providing superior service to our senior executives.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>As a member of the Global ETG (Executive Technology Group) you will: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide high quality, responsive technical expertise to all supported executives and their assistants.<\/li>\n<li>Resolve any escalations and ensure that executives are kept informed of the problem resolution status at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Build rapport with our customer base by eliciting any areas of concern they may have and implementing resolutions where appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Share knowledge and provide mentoring to team members. Lead by example and strive to raise the skill level bar for the entire team.<\/li>\n<li>Safeguard the technology environment by being proactive, preventing known problems, guarding against unknown threats, and responding to them with urgency.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with creation of operational readiness documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to audit controls in a highly regulated environment with an eye towards risk excellence.<\/li>\n<li>Stay current with technology trends and participate in guiding the future direction of new solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Be equally comfortable presenting technical concepts to executives and troubleshooting technical issues alongside senior level engineers.<\/li>\n<li>Execute strategic initiatives with minimal guidance or oversight<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Education &#038; Preferred Qualifications:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>B.S. in computer science or equivalent technical degree.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Total experience of 15+ years in the IT Industry in infrastructure space where 8+ years of experience is in providing hands on technical support directly to the Senior Executives<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Core\/Must have skills<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) Must have strong interpersonal, business, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to take control in a crisis situation, participating in calls, providing management updates, providing clear direction and assistance to relevant teams as needed Proven analytical mindset, ability to troubleshoot and make quick, accurate decisions in a high pressure environment \u201cHands on\u201d experience with Microsoft Windows desktop technologies and Mac OS Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment Knowledge of ServiceNow knowledge-base and ticketing system Strong experience and proficiency in administering MS 365 application Suite Knowledge on collaboration tools like Zoom, MS Teams etc. Understanding of mobile devices both iOS and Android Basic troubleshooting experience of WiFi, printers, LAN and Network Basic knowledge on upkeep of IT devices like Poly Cam, iPad, DTEN, etc. through regular patch updates<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Good to have skills<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Understanding of networking and corporate domain architecture. Understanding of video conferencing software platforms and a basic understanding of video conferencing hardware Basic understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.). Certification preferred Understanding of ITIL framework.
