Swift now has a presence in 200+ countries and legal territories to serve a community of more than 12,000 banks and financial institutions.<\/span>What to expect:<\/b><\/span>Work through all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance.<\/span>Write clean code and apply industry best practices.<\/span>Review designs, code, unit test and technical documentation created by other engineers.<\/span>Analyze problems, develop and propose solutions.<\/span>Prepare and study the technical feasibility and estimates of the proposed systems solutions.<\/span>Work collaboratively with other team members and improve with each other.<\/span>Provide timing\/scheduling estimates to product owner and propose corrective actions to timelines when necessary.<\/span>Organize an efficient handover through high quality documentation and training.<\/span>What will make you successful?<\/b><\/span>6 – 10 years of software development experience in an (preferably) international setting.<\/span>Experience in one of the programming languages (Java or C# or Python) and have good understanding of OOP.<\/span>Experience in Relational Database (e.g. Oracle, MySQL) or NoSQL Databases.<\/span>Working Experience in API benchmarking with tools such as JMeter, Postman<\/span>Familiarity or experience with SOA technologies such as micro-services, REST, SOAP is a plus.<\/span>Familiarity or experience with CICD development & deployment tools such as Ansible, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Git, Docker and OpenShift container platform is a plus.<\/span>Familiarity or experience with data ingestion with big data technologies (Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana and Kafka) will be added advantage.<\/span>Exposure to various OS platforms such as Window, Linux.<\/span>Practical working experience in an Agile driven team.<\/span>Strong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity.<\/span>Demonstrated ability to collaborate with local and remote teams in different time zones.<\/span>What we offer<\/b><\/span>We give you the freedom to be yourself.
