The role has a strong emphasis on enhancing Treasury operations and improving processes, with a significant focus on project work aimed at driving operational efficiencies.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Flutter Treasury has made significant progress with an ongoing treasury transformation project, which has included the implementation of an in-house bank, enhancing treasury systems and improving the group\u2019s underlying banking infrastructure. The group\u2019s in-house bank is based on a liquidity structure with virtual accounts and Flutter treasury is leveraging this infrastructure to further centralise treasury cash management and operations across the group. This transformation project is part of Flutter Treasury\u2019s journey of continual improvement to be best-in-class treasury for a Fortune 500 organisation.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Subsequent to this programme, a wider Group Finance initiative commenced in 2024 (\u2018Project Polaris\u2019), which involves transformation of the full Group Finance function (including Treasury) by the end of 2027, with a group wide Oracle cloud implementation, and objectives to achieve a faster close and centralise and streamline finance processes.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>The role will require substantial experience in Treasury operations, reporting, and project management. The role holder will require excellent technical skills, along with proven interpersonal, communication, and networking abilities. Experience in corporate Treasury within a large multinational company is essential.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Flutter has an international presence, with the treasury team located in Dublin, Isle of Man, Leeds and London, with the majority of the treasury team being Dublin based.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Accountabilities:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Prioritisation, Collaboration &#038; Management:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Managing and mentoring 1 Treasury analyst. Help foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, contributing to the professional growth of team members.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Assist with building and nurturing a culture within the Group Treasury function of high energy, enthusiasm, and positive outlook.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Participate in defining the Reporting, Operations &#038; Controllership roadmap and priorities for the next two years, ensuring alignment with the Group Strategic Plan and Project Polaris objectives.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Treasury Operations<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Oversee daily settlements, deal confirmations, and resolution of queries for all Treasury transactions.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Conduct daily reconciliations to ensure accurate capture of all transactions in the Group\u2019s Treasury Management System (TMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Assist in managing intercompany loans and maintaining related documentation.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Coordinate the Group\u2019s quarterly debt servicing process in collaboration with Tax and Group Finance teams.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Support retail operations by addressing banking-related projects and resolving banking issues.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Collaborate with Risk, Systems, and Compliance Teams on Treasury transformation, automation, and continuous process improvement initiatives.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Maintain robust policies, controls, risk assessment, and governance processes to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate financial and operational risks, supporting both internal and external audits as necessary.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Work collaboratively with finance teams, other divisions within the Group, and banking partners.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Enhance the Treasury control environment to meet Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance standards.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Assist Accounting Teams in ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in the Group\u2019s ERP system.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Treasury Reporting &#038; Controllership<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Lead the production of comprehensive Treasury reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for various internal and external stakeholders, including reporting for Board-level review.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Collaborate closely with divisional teams to ensure strict adherence to the Group Treasury policy across all divisions.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Maintain and regularly update procedural documentation to ensure it is current and compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Projects<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Devise and lead projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency of Treasury operations across the Group, including implementing an in-house bank and centralising Treasury functions from other divisions, in collaboration with the Group Treasury Senior Manager.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Competencies:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Drives results and efficiencies<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Collaborates<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Plans and aligns<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Cultivates innovation<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Manages complexity<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Key Requirements\/Experience:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>At least 5-7 years of relevant Treasury operations experience.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Ability to build good networks and relationships with internal and external parties.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Excellent verbal and written communication, and ability to convey ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Flexible, enjoying a frequently changing environment with a positive attitude and desire to constantly improve.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Proactivity and innovation \u2013 highly self-motivated and directed.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Strong time management, organisational and multi-tasking skills.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>High level of attention to detail.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Part or Qualified accountant advantageous.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Exposure to the gaming industry, directly or via a bank, extremely advantageous.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Join us at Flutter and be part of a world-class company that is constantly pushing boundaries in the gaming and betting industry.
