Our mobile engineers collaborate in a day to day basis todesign and develop the next generation of functionality for our mobile app.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead software design, prototype, and development of Android apps.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute best-in-class programming skills to develop highly innovative, consumer-facing mobile apps.<\/li>\n<li>Write clean, maintainable code and performing peer code-reviews<\/li>\n<li>Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility<\/li>\n<li>Work in an Agile\/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules<\/li>\n<li>Establish architectural principles, select design patterns and then mentor team members on their appropriate application<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with product and design teams to customize our app<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate and drive communication between mobile engineers and back-end engineers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree or above in Computer Science<\/li>\n<li>5+ years building complex, high quality Android applications, and have a strong knowledge of Android app design principles, patterns, and best practices<\/li>\n<li>Strong proficiency with Java, Kotlin, and the Android development ecosystem<\/li>\n<li>Deep understanding of Android platform, including different device capabilities, battery life, performance, and notifications.<\/li>\n<li>Robust knowledge of Java, RxJava, RxBinding, Dependency Injection, Android SDK, and Android Studio.<\/li>\n<li>Experience writing tests for Android with JUnit and Espresso<\/li>\n<li>Experience with architectures like MVP and MVVM<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Android frameworks\/tools such as Dagger 2, Picasso<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate complicated technical problems to both technical and business audiences<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of REST architecture and distributed systems<\/li>\n<li>Experience integrating mobile clients with microservices (REST based APIs)<\/li>\n<li>Bias for a shift-left, test driven development<\/li>\n<li>Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency and proactivity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Preferred Technology Experience: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Java or Spring<\/li>\n<li>Test automation framework experience across multiple mobile platforms, such as Selenium and Appium<\/li>\n<li>Continuous Integration using Jenkins<\/li>\n<li>Experience with distributed databases such as Couchbase or Realm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Experiencewith tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Preferred skills<\/b><br \/>\n       Java, RxJava, RxBinding, Dependency Injection, Android SDK, Android Studio, JUnit ,Espresso, MVP , MVVM, Dagger 2, Picasso, aws<\/p>\n<p><center><b><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.com\/jobad\/useae31ca8879d4b11976d157816f44233?affid=0852fd5db5a52cbcd75bf945aa534932\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a> <\/b><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Need to be a well-rounded Tech Lead who can workindependently and familiar with Engineering concepts and MUST have a ComputerScience degree!
