Within the Management Consulting division, M&#038;A Strategy team builds solutions for clients to maximize the value through Mergers &#038; Acquisitions (M&#038;A) transactions, both strategic and financial, across the deal continuum by leveraging its core expertise and extensive experience in M&#038;A from both Buyer \/ Seller perspective.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Competency Overview: M&#038;A Strategy The M&#038;A Strategy team will provide you with the opportunity to help clients achieve maximum value in their M&#038;A transactions by solving complex transformational challenges. As an Associate, you&#8217;ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. We focus on all business aspects of the deal lifecycle including:<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Description:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Pre-Deal \u2013 M&#038;A Strategy team advises clients on acquiring target companies (buy-side) or divesting business units (sell-side).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Buy-side diligence &#8211; Evaluate business models, analyze financials, identify synergies, assess costs, and highlight risks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Sell-side diligence &#8211; Create operating models, estimate standalone costs, and assess cross-functional entanglements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Key focus areas include operations, value capture, commercial and IT due diligence, divestiture management, and cost adjustments. Post-Deal &#8211; We provide advisory services for large-scale integrations and complex divestitures, focusing on cross-functional planning, target operating models, and actionable work plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Key areas include integration and separation management, IT program management, legal restructuring, and synergy tracking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Core responsibilities as an Associate would entail (but not limited to) Candidates will join high-functioning global project teams to solve M&#038;A-related problems, analyzing financial data, preparing work plans, managing stakeholders, and providing transaction recommendations.
