\n Software Engineering<\/span>General Summary:<\/b><\/span>The engineer\u2019s role would be to support testing efforts for XR sw stack and adjacent technologies like game\/3d app dev kits (unity 3d, unreal engine), connectivity (usb, wifi 6, Wifi 6E), multimedia(video, camera, graphics, audio, display). Primary responsibilities will be to write and execute testcases, develop test applications on Android\/Linux\/Windows systems and develop automation scrips using python\/C\/C++.<\/span>\u00b7 Evaluate technologies, systems, and devices through testing, logging and analysis.
\n \u00b7 Candidate must be able to create test environments using software and hardware tools.
\n \u00b7 Develop test procedures, execute tests, and isolate problems.
\n \u00b7 Develop automation systems for executing tests and parsing results.<\/span>\u00b7 Develop app\/test content for exercising new features.
\n \u00b7 Actively study user experience to improve customer experience on Qualcomm MM solution across ARM based chipset product
\n The Engineer must have a good understanding of Augmented\/Virtual Reality technologies and multimedia technologies of Graphics, Video and Camera.
Required Qualifications:<\/b>
\n \u00b7 Experience working with and testing applications on Windows, Linux and Android.
\n \u00b7 Expertise on Windows and Linux OS concepts and tools \u2013 bat script, linux commands.
\n \u00b7 Expert in C\/C++\/Python programming
\n \u00b7 Expertise in Augmented\/Virtual Reality technologies \u2013 6DOF tracking, OpenXR, OpenVR, WebXR
\n \u00b7 Outstanding problem-solving skills
\n \u00b7 Excellent communication and team working skills.
\n \u00b7 Physical presence in Qualcomm Bangalore office is expected<\/span>Minimum Qualifications: \u2022 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.<\/span>Preferred additional qualifications:<\/b>
\n \u00b7 Experience with development of 3D experiences \u2013 games\/apps using SDKs like Unity and Unreal.<\/span>\u00b7 Expertise in Video technologies – Video Decode & Encode techniques
\n \u00b7 Data analysis, automation and scripting \u2013 Python programming
\n \u00b7 Experience with image processing and computer graphics pipelines and architecture
\n \u00b7 Expertise in AI\/Machine Learning technologies
