{"id":49806,"date":"2025-03-11T12:59:29","date_gmt":"2025-03-11T12:59:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/mechanical-technician-9\/"},"modified":"2025-03-11T12:59:29","modified_gmt":"2025-03-11T12:59:29","slug":"mechanical-technician-9","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/mechanical-technician-9\/","title":{"rendered":"Mechanical Technician"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Job Description:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Duties &#038; Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform all tasks related to the servicing and recertification of Rig Floor Equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Tasks include disassembly, re-assembly, and testing.<\/li>\n<li>Any other reasonable duties deemed necessary by the Workshop Supervisor to all the department to operate effectively and efficiently.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Comply with all ARM Company and HSE policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Function\/ Purpose: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Refurbishment of various drilling equipment in workshop.<\/li>\n<li>Handling of Equipment &#038; components (Offloading\/Loading\/Lifting) as per HSE standards.<\/li>\n<li>Follow OEM procedures, specifications &#038; Drawings for repair activities.<\/li>\n<li>Work within the QMS.<\/li>\n<li>Perform trouble shooting of equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Perform Pre-Dismantling inspection of equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Perform Disassembly of Drilling equipment as per ARM procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of components for blast cleaning &#038; detail inspection.<\/li>\n<li>Perform inspection including measurements of critical components as per ARM procedure.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Inspection report and submit to QC for Review.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Bill of Material required for Re-assembly after detail inspection and submit workshop lead for review.<\/li>\n<li>Create daily work done reports.<\/li>\n<li>Receive, verify, and segregate the components for Re-assembly.<\/li>\n<li>Inspect repaired\/machined components prior to assembly.<\/li>\n<li>Report if any non-conformance observed.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare &#038; Re-assemble the equipment as per OEM spec and procedure.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all products are assembled using the correct components per \u201cbill of material\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Perform FAT &#038; trouble shoot of equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Work with operations to identify product improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Perform &#038; assist RCA related tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other work-related task as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Comply with all ARM Company and HSE procedures and policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>SKILLS &#038; EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 Years&#8217; experience in overhaul of Rig Floor Equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of workshop activities &#8211; like fitting works, tooling, knowledge to read mechanical assembly drawings, schematic diagrams etc.<\/li>\n<li>Basic computer &#038; Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Verbal and written Communication.<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in using of pneumatic and mechanical hand tools.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge to use measuring tools like ID\/OD callipers, verniers etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Qualification, knowledge and experience: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or GED Equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years&#8217; experience, or equivalent knowledge\/education preferable in workshop activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> About Us: Every day, the oil and gas industry&#8217;s best minds put more than 150 years of experience to work to help our customers achieve lasting success.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>We Power the Industry that Powers the World<br \/>\n       Throughout every region in the world and across every area of drilling and production, our family of companies has provided the technical expertise, advanced equipment, and operational support necessary for success-now and in the future.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Global Family<br \/>\n       We are a global family of thousands of individuals, working as one team to create a lasting impact for ourselves, our customers, and the communities where we live and work.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Purposeful Innovation<br \/>\n       Through purposeful business innovation, product creation, and service delivery, we are driven to power the industry that powers the world better.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Service Above All<br \/>\n       This drives us to anticipate our customers&#8217; needs and work with them to deliver the finest products and services on time and on budget.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>About the Team: Corporate<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Our family of companies is supported by our global Corporate teams, providing expert knowledge from functions including Human Resources, Information Technology, Compliance, Finance, QHSE, Marketing and Legal centers of expertise.
