Write the next chapter of your ABB story.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>This position reports to<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Service Manager<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Your role and responsibilities<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring customer retention by effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations. The work model for the role is: Remote This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in the Atlantic Region. You will be mainly accountable for: \u2022 Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer\u2019s operations and eliminate pain points. \u2022 Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform. \u2022 Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities. \u2022 Acting as trainer when needed, for field service associates and customers.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Qualifications for the role<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma\/GED and 2 or more years\u2019 professional experience<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent military experience or Associates Degree with 2 or more years\u2019 experience in servicing critical power equipment preferred<\/li>\n<li>Ability to travel 75% (occasional nights and weekends)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with 3 phase (208\/480vac) power distribution equipment (UPS, PDU, STS, Panelboards, etc.) or similar\/relevant Military experience and or field service experience.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>More about us<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>ABB Smart Power provides energy distribution solutions for data centers, industrial and manufacturing plants, critical infrastructure and commercial buildings.
