Join us today and experience Life at Visa.<\/span>Job Description<\/b><\/span>Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – Android & iOS Development<\/span>Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in both Android and iOS development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance mobile applications on both platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of mobile app architectures, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.<\/span>Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>– Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.<\/span>– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. – Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.<\/span>– Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.<\/span>– Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.<\/span>– Contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards.<\/span>– Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.<\/span>– Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver a seamless user experience.<\/span>Requirements – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. – 4+ years of professional experience in mobile application development. – Strong proficiency in both Java\/Kotlin for Android development and Swift\/Objective-C for iOS development.<\/span>– Deep understanding of Android SDK, iOS SDK, and their respective development tools.<\/span>– Experience with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services.<\/span>– Strong understanding of mobile design principles, patterns, and best practices.<\/span>– Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.<\/span>– Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.<\/span>– Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.<\/span>– Experience with continuous integration and automated testing.<\/span>– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.<\/span>– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.<\/span>This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.<\/span>Qualifications<\/b><\/span>Basic Qualifications<\/b>
\n 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience<\/span>Preferred Qualifications<\/b>
\n 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)<\/span>– Proven experience as a Senior Mobile Engineer or similar role.<\/span>– Hands-on experience with modern mobile frameworks and libraries.<\/span>– Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.<\/span>– Strong understanding of user interface design and user experience principles.<\/span>– Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.<\/span>– A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile development.<\/span>– Strong portfolio of released applications on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.<\/span>– Experience with cross-platform mobile development frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.<\/span>– Familiarity with Agile\/Scrum development processes.<\/span>– Experience with mobile CI\/CD pipelines.<\/span>– Knowledge of mobile security best practices.<\/span>– Contributions to open-source mobile projects.<\/span>Additional Information<\/b><\/span>Visa is an EEO Employer.
