Job Description: Sr Advanced Hardware Engineer<\/span>12+ years of Experience in the field of Hardware Design, Development and Certification Activities.<\/span>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>\u00b7 Should Work collaboratively with team as a Hardware Engineer.<\/span>\u00b7 Understanding and preparing requirements, Hands on Design, Review and testing<\/span>\u00b7 Converting product requirements and translate into design requirements<\/span>\u00b7 Conceptualize the product and translate the requirements into CTQs for design<\/span>\u00b7 Schematic design Capture to a Board Bring up, Requirement Specifications, Guidelines, PCB Design and DFM and working closely with the Mechanical and Software Team globally to meet product requirements.<\/span>\u00b7 Identify and select electronic Component (obsolesce management) as part of the design<\/span>\u00b7 Test Equipment – CROs, Logic Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzer, protocol analyzer, lab equipment Power Supply etc.<\/span>\u00b7 Develop Analog, Mixed Signal Design for industrial Market<\/span>\u00b7 Design Expertise in 16\/32 Bit Controller\/Processor interface for NAND\/NOR Flash Memory, LCD \/Ethernet \/DDR<\/span>\u00b7 Layout guidelines \/ Impedance matching for high speed & Differential routing \/ Signal integrity knowledge desirable<\/span>\u00b7 Knowledge of Test Compliance for Environmental, EMI\/EMC & Electrical<\/span>\u00b7 Should be proficient in certification requirements like UL, CE & Safety with agencies like CSA\/TUV<\/span>\u00b7 Should independently handle Design calculations, FMEA, Thermal Analysis<\/span>\u00b7 Should independently handle Customer Escalations Technically and provide solutions<\/span>\u00b7 Develop NPI \/ Process documents as per the process defined in Honeywell<\/span>\u00b7 Solve the technical challenges in projects.<\/span>\u00b7 Should collaborate with teams across Honeywell<\/span>\u00b7 Should have experience with global cross functional teams and collaborate<\/span>Essential Technical Skills \/ Knowledge:<\/span>\u00b7 Must possess good design skills in Analog and Digital design along with thorough knowledge on implementations for Low level signal conditioning, Power and Thermal management techniques for analytical products<\/span>\u00b7 Strong knowledge on Interfacing the Microprocessor \/ Microcontrollers with the Low Noise low power ADC, DAC and Sensors.<\/span>\u00b7 Strong knowledge on, Linear Circuit Design Involving Op-Amps, Instrumentation Amplifiers and various Signal Conditioning Techniques.<\/span>\u00b7 Strong Analytical Skills for Problem Resolution and Design Implementation.<\/span>\u00b7 Strong knowledge on various Serial protocols like SPI, I2C, CAN, RS485, RS232, Ethernet, USB.<\/span>\u00b7 Exposure to design tools on Schematic Designs using OrCAD Capture, PADS LOGIC, Dx Designer or any similar & proficiency on Simulation using PSpice.<\/span>\u00b7 Knowledge on ISO\/IEC\/EN\/BSI Standards<\/span>\u00b7 Knowledge on Design of various types of AC \/ DC Power Supply<\/span>\u00b7 Must have good knowledge on Product Testing for EMI \/ EMC compliance along with knowledge on Environmental Stress Testing and Analysis is required.<\/span>\u00b7 Should have experience on Reliability analysis.<\/span>\u00b7 Should be able to trouble shoot design issues and come out with solutions.<\/span>\u00b7 Collaborate with Test teams to address the observations and issues<\/span>Preferred skills<\/b><\/span>\u00b7 Understanding of NPI stage gate process<\/span>\u00b7 Strong Analytical and reasoning skills<\/span>\u00b7 Superior written and verbal communication skills.<\/span>\u00b7 Able to work independently with a sense of project ownership<\/span>\u00b7 Decision making and able to take decisions based on assessment of risks<\/span>\u00b7 Mentoring junior members of the team<\/span>\u00b7 Should be able to communicate effectively in reviews and meetings.<\/span>Additional Information<\/b><\/p>\n
