{"id":48892,"date":"2025-03-09T09:59:42","date_gmt":"2025-03-09T09:59:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/service-technician-5\/"},"modified":"2025-03-09T09:59:42","modified_gmt":"2025-03-09T09:59:42","slug":"service-technician-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/service-technician-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Service Technician"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Long Description<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Summary<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Electronic service technicians are responsible for diagnosing, repairing or replacing parts for all household appliances.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prescreen, identify, analyze, and repair appliance and electronic product failures ensuring customer satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Configuring\/troubleshooting experience with hardware including audio-DSP, A\/V control, video and audio devices, and USB based software applications.<\/li>\n<li>Order necessary parts after initial prescreen so they are in hand before going to customers&#8217; location.<\/li>\n<li>Perform daily administrative functions to include warranty claims and report submission.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain performance objectives as required by the company.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain company vehicle, tools, equipment and parts inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Rely on personal judgment for safety regarding work.<\/li>\n<li>Work independently without onsite supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Candidate Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 to 5 years field service experience in all major home appliances.<\/li>\n<li>Possess appropriate Refrigerant Handling Certificate(s), CET, (HVAC) and other applicable appliance or electronics service certifications.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and proficient use of electronic and appliance and\/or refrigeration tools and diagnostic test equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in MS Office and Smartphone technology with the ability to quickly learn proprietary software applications.<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver&#8217;s license with a clear driving record.<\/li>\n<li>Meet physical requirements generally associated with field service repair (lifting, bending, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication, organization and customer service skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Education<\/b><br \/><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.com.kw\/jobad\/kw288297cc02d2a9ff145739f43ede6d36?affid=0852fd5db5a52cbcd75bf945aa534932\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Long Description Job Summary Electronic service technicians are responsible for diagnosing, repairing or replacing parts for all household appliances.
