Loblaw Digital is the team responsible for building and operating the online businesses of Canada\u2019s largest and most successful retailer. Based in downtown Toronto, we are an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and collaborative team working towards transforming the way Canadians shop by creating leading eCommerce experiences in the online grocery shopping, beauty, pharmacy, loyalty, and apparel spaces, and we\u2019re only just getting started! To achieve these goals, we are looking for talented and passionate individuals who want to collaborate and solve challenging problems and make a significant and lasting impact on Canadians.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>On our team, you will play a vital role in our AI-driven initiatives by working alongside our skilled machine learning, data science, and engineering teams. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop machine learning and generative AI based solutions that address critical business challenges. You will have the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including machine learning scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to deliver innovative solutions that enhance customer experiences and optimize internal processes.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>What you\u2019ll do <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build ML \/ generative AI solutions using massive structured and unstructured datasets from various sources across the company<\/li>\n<li>Work with Engineering and Data Platform teams to build and deploy your ML models into production<\/li>\n<li>Work cross-functionally with business teams \u2014 Product, Trading, Marketing, Supply Chain, Web Analytics, etc. \u2014 to source data, establish requirements, and define success<\/li>\n<li>Stay up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI technologies, contributing your knowledge to the team&#8217;s growth and learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Does this sound like you?<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pursuing a Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interest in generative AI and its applications<\/li>\n<li>Strong foundational knowledge in machine learning<\/li>\n<li>Creative, resourceful, and productive problem-solver<\/li>\n<li>Able to work independently and collaboratively<\/li>\n<li>Passion for building ML solutions to fluid, open-ended problems<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable with SQL querying<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Python, knowledge of any ML framework is a plus<\/li>\n<li>A portfolio of personal or academic machine learning projects is a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> How you\u2019ll succeed<span class=\"br\"><\/span>At Loblaw Digital, we seek great people to continually strengthen our culture.
