With efficient storage and querying capabilities, we\u2019re able to serve requests in milliseconds when querying over huge volumes of data!\u201d \u2013 Hiring Manager<span class=\"br\"><\/span>What You\u2019ll Do:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>As a Software Engineer II in the Data Platform team, you will play a pivotal role in developing, and maintaining scalable systems. Your responsibilities will include: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement scalable and reliable microservices on AWS infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for architectures, processes, and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support during critical incidents and implement preventive measures.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and analyze AWS usage, providing recommendations for cost savings without compromising system performance and reliability.<\/li>\n<li>Craft resilient, secure, and efficient code, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> What You\u2019ll Bring: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstratable ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, mentoring junior team members and contributing to a positive team culture.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Java development to build services and libraries with Java 11 and above.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in developing and supporting backend systems for data processing within AWS.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with foundational AWS services, such as; ALB, ECS, S3, ElastiCache, IAM, CloudWatch.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of implementing and maintaining Kafka-based event-driven services.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in either relational or NoSQL databases, with an understanding of database design, optimization, and management.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Jenkins and developing CI\/CD pipelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What We Bring:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Join our Data Platform team to accelerate your career journey, working with cutting-edge technologies and contributing to projects that have real customer impact.
