{"id":4822,"date":"2024-11-21T12:59:20","date_gmt":"2024-11-21T12:59:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/engineer-net-with-react\/"},"modified":"2024-11-21T12:59:20","modified_gmt":"2024-11-21T12:59:20","slug":"engineer-net-with-react","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/engineer-net-with-react\/","title":{"rendered":"Engineer &#8211; .Net with React"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Job Description<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approach work from an Agile mindset applying practices and principles wherever possible<\/li>\n<li>Attend and participate in all Sprint events to achieve desired outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Interact with stakeholders\/Product Owner to clarify requirements and provide input into the creation of User Stories<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for estimation, sprint planning and managing all their own tasks and reporting on progress<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates closely with all team members to take a shared responsibility for the sprint backlog and the team&#8217;s success<\/li>\n<li>Develops new or amended features, resolves bugs and carries out other tasks as required to realise business goals<\/li>\n<li>Produces high quality code and takes responsibility for the quality of their own code &#8211; writing unit tests and conducting unit testing where applicable<\/li>\n<li>Maintains broader code quality through peer code reviews<\/li>\n<li>Manage \/ assist with live releases in line with the team&#8217;s release schedule<\/li>\n<li>Identify improvement opportunities to improve team processes and agree on actionable improvements<\/li>\n<li>Provide 2nd\/3rd line support within their domain environment<\/li>\n<li>Conduct demonstrations of new or updated functionalities to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of technical details and benefits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Role Requirements E=essential, P=preferred<span class=\"br\"><\/span>E &#8211; Degree or equivalent professional qualification or experience<span class=\"br\"><\/span>E &#8211; Ability to work independently across some or all the Microsoft Stack and other key technologies:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Required experience : 2+yrs <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>.NET (C#)<\/li>\n<li>MS Azure (preferably Application Insights, Service Bus, Functions, Storage, App Configuration)<\/li>\n<li>SQL Server<\/li>\n<li>JavaScript \/ Typescript with React<\/li>\n<li>ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, WPF, Web APIs<\/li>\n<li>Unit Testing (NUnit, MSTest, Moq, Jest)<\/li>\n<li>GIT (preferably understanding of Azure DevOps)<\/li>\n<li>XML, JSON<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> E &#8211; Ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly<span class=\"br\"><\/span>E &#8211; Good understanding of software architecture, issues and design<span class=\"br\"><\/span>E &#8211; Good understanding of data and databases<span class=\"br\"><\/span>E &#8211; Familiarity and good experience with Agile development methodologies and the complete product lifecycle from inception to delivery<span class=\"br\"><\/span>E &#8211; Excellent communication skills &#8211; both written and verbal<span class=\"br\"><\/span>E &#8211; An analytical mind in identifying appropriate solutions for business requirements<span class=\"br\"><\/span>E &#8211; Familiarity with integrating with 3rd party libraries in .NET and React Typescript<span class=\"br\"><\/span>P &#8211; Excited by technology, with up to date understanding of the latest technologies<span class=\"br\"><\/span>P &#8211; Some experience of code reviews and coding standards<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Additional Information<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>We&#8217;re in tune with what the world is watching, buying, and everything in between.
