We have passionate engineers working full time on this new platform in Hyderabad and it’s only the beginning. You will get a chance to work with brilliant people and some of the best development and design teams, in addition to working with cutting edge technologies such as React, Java\/Node JS, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS.<\/span>We are looking for an exceptional Software Architect to join our team and to work on Percipio to provide world-class user experience. For this challenging journey we have multiple co-located teams across the globe. We embrace the Scaled agile framework, micro-services architecture, and DevOps model. You will have the opportunity to work on products and features that have a significant impact on the learning and development of individuals and organizations worldwide.<\/span>Overall, the Architect role at Skillsoft offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about technology, learning, and making a difference in the world.<\/span>SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:<\/b><\/span>Minimum 15+ years of software engineering development experience background working with developing cloud based enterprise solutions.<\/span>Strong knowledge in working with REST API*, Web services and SAML* integrations<\/span>Experience working with Postgres, Redis, Cassandra, Elasticsearch<\/span>Experience in programming languages (Java*, Ruby, Elixir, JavaScript*, HTML5*, CSS*)<\/span>Experience with frameworks (Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails)<\/span>Experience in Javascript frameworks (Node.js*, React*, Redux, Angular, Express.js)<\/span>Experience with DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, AWS)<\/span>Experience in UI Test frameworks (CasperJS, PhantomJS, Mocha, Jasmine, JEST, Selenium, etc.)<\/span>Experience with code versioning tools, preferably Git (Github, Gitlab, etc) and the feature branch workflow<\/span>Good in multi-threading, algorithms and complex problem solving skills<\/span>Advanced design, debugging and coding skills<\/span>Experience with automation tools like Maven, Gradle, NPM, WebPack, Grunt<\/span>Must know how to code applications on Unix\/Linux based systems*.<\/span>Experience in working with Agile\/Scrum environment*.<\/span>Challenge the status quo.<\/span>Encourage and use experimentation as a tool to achieve continuous improvement of team performance.<\/span>Support design and refactoring through rapid prototyping and experimentation during research and refactor spikes.<\/span>Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.<\/span>Participate in self-directed learning activities aimed at developing deep expertise within technical domain, including reading relevant publications, participating in domain forums or groups etc.<\/span>Have a deep understanding of context within which our products are being developed, deployed and used.<\/span>Have a solid understanding of the user personas for the product within the technical domain and deep empathy for the needs of those users.<\/span>Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complexities and how components connect and relate to each other.<\/span>Strong leadership skills; Coaching and mentoring skills.<\/span>Technical expert with in-depth programming and product knowledge and strong technical skills combined with project management and leadership ability.<\/span>Passionate, curious, open to new ideas with the ability to pick up new technologies.<\/span>OUR VALUES<\/b><\/span>WE ARE PASSIONATELY COMMITTED TO LEADERSHIP, LEARNING, AND SUCCESS.
