At Yasmina American School, we make outstanding education accessible, equipping your child to thrive in and beyond the classroom.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>This is an exciting opportunity to join the highly successful Aldar family of schools and to help shape the future of Abu Dhabi&#8217;s leading school group.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Main Duties:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Billing, collection, liasing with customers to collect the receivables<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely collection and reduction\/avoid bad debt<\/li>\n<li>Respond to parents&#8217; requirements and inquiries relating to fees payment.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the collection process including reminders and warning<\/li>\n<li>Follow up late payments and returned cheques.<\/li>\n<li>Provide student list with fee outstdaning with School and HQ Credit Control team for decision making and expedite the collection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Specific Duties:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Strategic Responsibilities <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Timely and accurate billing, collection and reduction of bad debt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Functional Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for delivering a high quality customer service for the school<\/li>\n<li>Timely billing for all types of receivables (but not limited to) such as tuition fees, exam fees, ECA, trips, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Issue receipts on a daily basis with accurate information such as bank reference number, date, etc and ensure the reason is updated against all unidentified transactions and shared with respective school accountants for preparing bank reconciliation statement<\/li>\n<li>Ensure reminder and warning letters have been sent with guidance of HQ Credit Control team<\/li>\n<li>Preform sales validation and ensure the student number are accurately reconciled with admission team<\/li>\n<li>Improve collection and reduce bad debt below 0.25%<\/li>\n<li>Timely closing of AR module in line with closing calendar<\/li>\n<li>Accurate and Timely reporting for AR reports for decision making<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile Accounts Receivables between Education and ERP systems, identify the gaps and resolve them in co-ordination with IT team<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the enrolment processes are followed in compliance with policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Validate refund requests from school and initiate payments through AR module and handover the documents to School Accountant for payment<\/li>\n<li>Provide finance clearance for leavers and internal transfers after due diligence checks and validation<\/li>\n<li>Ensure month end activities are performed in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Support HQ Credit Control team team for adhoc matters as and when required<\/li>\n<li>Support internal and external audit queries, provide supporting documents and resolve all audit queries within the timeline<\/li>\n<li>Initiate process improvement wherever possible to achieve finance excellence<\/li>\n<li>Support digitalization of billing and collection projects where required<\/li>\n<li>Improve customer experience by responding to emails and calls in a professional manner<\/li>\n<li>Attend weekly AR review meetings with the team and provide insights for decision making<\/li>\n<li>Prepare suspension list with appropriate comments and share with school Principal<\/li>\n<li>Ensure to send finance fee follow up letters timely manner in compliance with ADEK regulation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Minimum Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors Degree<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Minimum Experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2-3 years experience in similar role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Job Specific Knowledge &#038; Skill:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Fluent English communication skills, written and oral. Arabic is an added advantage.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attention to detail with diligent follow up, and able to execute in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Skilled in multi-tasking and handling pressure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to be detail focused when required whilst maintaining sight of the big picture<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Deadline oriented and take ownership of work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Forethought and forward planning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Capable of influencing people and talented in networking with cultural sensitivity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent analytical capabilities and hands on experience in MS Office presentations and other reporting tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What We Offer<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Aldar Education are a family of world-class, child-centred, and innovative schools based in the UAE.
