{"id":45585,"date":"2025-03-01T10:59:35","date_gmt":"2025-03-01T10:59:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/software-automation-tester-vois\/"},"modified":"2025-03-01T10:59:35","modified_gmt":"2025-03-01T10:59:35","slug":"software-automation-tester-vois","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/software-automation-tester-vois\/","title":{"rendered":"Software Automation Tester (VOIS)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Role Purppose<span class=\"br\"><\/span>To support Vodafone&#8217;s key strategic growth areas in Testing Function which requires a highly capable and passionate resources for specialized domains as Digital, IoT and Cloud Transformation.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Test Engineer will be required to perform and execute testing services as per the agreed strategy and test plan through innovative and efficient practices.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Key accountabilities and decision ownership:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review customer requirements<\/li>\n<li>Develop and design test cases based on customer requirements<\/li>\n<li>Review and update test cases<\/li>\n<li>Construct and prepare test datasets<\/li>\n<li>Execute the software based on the plans and test documents<\/li>\n<li>Create execution records and update the status according to the results<\/li>\n<li>Report defects whenever they occur, track and monitor them<\/li>\n<li>Retest defects when they are resolved<\/li>\n<li>Execute regression buckets<\/li>\n<li>Joins Testing initiatives for specialization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Core competencies, knowledge and experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1-4 Years working in Testing<\/li>\n<li>Very good understanding of theories and procedures about Software Testing<\/li>\n<li>Working experience with web \/ App \/ applications technology<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of database administration<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge With API Testing<\/li>\n<li>Working experience in dealing with industry test management tools<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the following test management tools is a plus<\/li>\n<li>HP ALM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Must have technical \/ professional qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ISEB\/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing is a must<\/li>\n<li>Agile testing knowledge is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of scripting languages (python, Javascript)<\/li>\n<li>Jira knowledge is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Appium knowledge is required<\/li>\n<li>AWS Knowledge is a plus<\/li>\n<li>BBD Language is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of DDT methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with CI\/CD Pipelines is a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Vodafone is committed to attracting, developing and retaining the very best people by offering a motivating and inclusive workplace in which talent is truly recognised and rewarded.
