Primary Purpose of the Job:<\/b><\/span>Operates and adjusts production facilities as directed by General Operator\/Senior<\/span>Operator within designated limits to ensure maximum recovery\/injection on assigned<\/span>shift. Will work on standby duty on a rotational basis, when assigned to Wellhead<\/span>operations.<\/span>The Field Operator I is expected to work as directed in any of the plant areas covered<\/span>by the Oil Operations Department. These areas are:- Khatiyah Main, North and South<\/span>Degassing stations, Fahahil North, Fahahil Main, Fahahil South and Jaleha Degassing<\/span>stations, Fahahil Stripping Plant, Fahahil North Gas Lift Compressor Station, Gas lift<\/span>manifolds, Powered Water lnjection stations, Wellheads and related Pipelines in<\/span>Dukhan field.<\/span>The Field Operator I may be required to work on shifts depending on the area to which<\/span>he is assigned. Required Experience and Skills:<\/span>Minimum 4 years experience in operating process plant in the oil or petrochemical<\/span>industry. Educational Qualifications:<\/span>Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by 3 years formal technical<\/span>training in process plant operations plus relevant short courses in safety, plant<\/span>operations or equivalent. For nationals TAFE or equivalent.<\/p>\n
