These demonstration environments incorporate the latest product capabilities that Salesforce has to offer, tailored to meet the needs of specific product or industry. With these demo environments, SE\u2019s have the tools that they need in order to deliver a best practice demo for a given product or industry and enable our SE\u2019s to scale, innovate and provide the best product demonstrations of their careers.<\/span>ROLE OVERVIEW:<\/b><\/span>As a Solution Developer for the Demos team, you will have a significant impact on Salesforce’s success by contributing to our demo platforms and supporting the success of demo assets leveraged by our global Presales team. In this role you will focus on using your development skills to make our demo assets deployable on demand using the Salesforce and NextGen Platforms. This will provide Solutions Engineers with the tools they need to deliver compelling product and industry demos.<\/span>This includes front and back end development on the Salesforce platform, integrations to other Salesforce product clouds including Data Cloud, Slack, and Marketing, keeping up with the pace of innovation supporting new product features into our Demo Assets. We are looking to hire a talented, flexible and creative developer that will help us innovate, serve our stakeholders, and have a great time while doing so.<\/span>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>Ensure your assigned Q Brix pass daily testing<\/span>Deploy updates, enhancements, and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support to Demos team<\/span>Build demo platform utilities to reduce occurrence of errors and improve demo experiences<\/span>Develop technologies to integrate with internal back-end systems<\/span>Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues<\/span>Develop scripts to automate common demo configuration<\/span>Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance<\/span>Align to a given industry\/product and support technical requests through a queue<\/span>Provide a 2 business day turn-around on assigned Github pull request tickets<\/span>Publish Demo updates to required demo orgs<\/span>Own and deliver on one assigned side project per quarter<\/span>Respond in a timely manner to slack posts and asana tasks<\/span>Required skills and qualifications<\/b><\/span>2-6 years of experience working with the Salesforce Platform technologies include – LWC, Javascript, Aura, Apex,SOQL, Flows etc.<\/span>Experience working with Salesforce Products like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud,Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Agent Force, CRM Analytics<\/span>Good to have experience working with Git and GitHub workflows, SFDX, Cumulus CI<\/span>Must have certifications – Salesforce Admin, App Builder, Platform Developer – 1<\/span>Good to have Sales \/ Service \/ Other consultant certifications<\/span>Problem-solving attitude<\/span>Collaborative team spirit<\/span>Preferred skills and qualifications<\/b><\/span>Good knowledge of Ruby or Python<\/span>Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field<\/span>Experience in developing\/engineering applications for a large company<\/span>Objectives of this role<\/b><\/span>Become a technical partner for our demo teams<\/span>Serve as a partner to the demos team, determining the most effective way to make our demo assets deployable<\/span>Understanding the needs of demo product owners and solving for them<\/span>Working with demo product owners to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended<\/span>Support demo product owners by building demo configuration<\/span>Follow DevOps Standards & Release Management processes<\/span>Follow Q Branch defined Agile delivery process and adhere to best practices outlined using our DevOps life cycle to build, manage, and maintain high quality demo assets.<\/span>Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes<\/span>Research, architect and build solutions for continuous integration between Github and Salesforce orgs.<\/span>Ensure Demo Quality<\/span>Testing and examining configuration and code written by others and analyzing results<\/span>Identifying technical problems and developing updates and fixes<\/span>Provide attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality, stable deliverables<\/span>Security & Trust<\/span>Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats<\/span>Train and Enable<\/span>Contribute to Developer Documentation<\/span>Educate Demo Product Owners on how to work effectively on our platform<\/span>Mentor and train others when possible<\/span>Team Player<\/span>Planning projects and being involved in project management decisions<\/span>Work seamlessly as part of a global team<\/span>Accommodations<\/span>If you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this .<\/span>Posting Statement<\/span>At Salesforce we believe that the business of business is to improve the state of our world.
