They are responsible for recognizing, researching, isolating and resolving first level information systems problems for appropriate service, repairs, training and follow-up. Also performs technical inspections for all work processed in the Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) Bench. Perform other duties as assigned.<br \/><b>Responsibilities<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide technical maintenance and service for all ADPE equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate equipment for malfunctions and deficiencies.<\/li>\n<li>Performs baseline procedures, and hardware replacement.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the Systems Support Specialist, Lead (SSSL) to determine serviceability of workstations, monitors, printers, servers, and other computer peripherals.<\/li>\n<li>Is responsible for all final technical inspections and ensures the appropriate status entry is made in the work order tracking system.<\/li>\n<li>Performs monthly UBL inventories and assist with cyclical property inventories.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other duties and assignments as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum Qualifications:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Education\/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Use the guide below to determine education and experience for this position.<\/li>\n<li>Education\/Experience Requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum Qualifications:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be a US Citizen<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Secret Clearance<\/li>\n<li>A valid drivers license and the ability to obtain U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operation&#8217;s License and Host Nations Driver&#8217;s License, is required.<\/li>\n<li>Meets requirements outlined in AR 25-2 for privileged access (IAT-I) to ISs CompTIA Security+ and Microsoft 365 Certified Modern Desktop Administrator or Server+ is required IAW DoD 8570.1-M.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must be Baseline &#038; Computing Environment certified prior to hire in accordance with DoD 8570.1-M.<\/li>\n<li>A+ Certification preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years of related experience.<\/li>\n<li>Skills:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbal.<\/li>\n<li>Possess Advanced PC technical support skills<\/li>\n<li>Time management and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Must be proficient using the latest version of Microsoft Office<\/li>\n<li>Experience using Maximo work order system or similar system<\/li>\n<li>Pursuant to KRH subcontract English competency levels:<\/li>\n<li>Reading ability \u2013 level 3<\/li>\n<li>Speaking ability \u2013 level 3<\/li>\n<li>Writing ability \u2013 level 3<\/li>\n<li>Material &#038; Equipment Directly Used:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Personal computer, printers, network equipment and electronic test equipment and other general office equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Physical Requirements:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and\/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and\/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and\/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.<\/li>\n<li>Visual Acuity:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operates machines, such as lathes, drill presses, power saws, and mills where the seeing job is at or within arm&#8217;s reach; performs mechanical or skilled trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature, such as carpenter, technicians, service people, plumbers, painters, mechanics, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Working Conditions:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work.)<\/li>\n<li>The worker is subject to both environmental conditions.
