{"id":4412,"date":"2024-11-19T15:00:54","date_gmt":"2024-11-19T15:00:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/doorman\/"},"modified":"2024-11-19T15:00:54","modified_gmt":"2024-11-19T15:00:54","slug":"doorman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/doorman\/","title":{"rendered":"Doorman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>REQ12107 Doorman (Open Date: 18\/11\/2024)<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>POSITION SUMMARY:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Doorman is responsible for delivering a quality customer service experience and enhancing guest satisfaction by acknowledging, welcoming, bids farewell, and greets with a smile all guests and visitors of the Hotel.<\/li>\n<li>The Doorman provides assistance with guest luggage, open\/closing of car \/ hotel doors, and valet parking upon arrival and departure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides prompt, efficient, and professional customer service to guests of City of Dreams Manila by ensuring all guests are addressed in a polite and courteous manner as they enter and exit the hotel.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains current product knowledge of events and facilities of City of Dreams Manila, including gaming, spa, recreation, food &#038; beverage and entertainment, ensuring guests receive accurate, timely information and advice.<\/li>\n<li>Keeps abreast with local happenings and provide accurate information when asked.<\/li>\n<li>Makes use of maps, information files, and drawings as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Provides clear directions for all guests traveling outside the hotel.<\/li>\n<li>Posts in designated lobby position to ensure readiness (proactive) to assist the guests.<\/li>\n<li>Builds relationships with guests to gain loyalty.<\/li>\n<li>Promotes positive guest relations at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains all Forbes quality standards and procedures from guest\u2019s pre-arrival, to guest\u2019s arrival, to guest\u2019s in-house stay to the guest\u2019s departure.<\/li>\n<li>Handles guest requests \/ inquiries in a professional and helpful manner.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures smooth arrival and welcomes all guests with a smile.<\/li>\n<li>Assists guest by removing the luggage from the car.<\/li>\n<li>Loads the car with the luggage.<\/li>\n<li>Tags appropriately the luggage to ensure seamless delivery to the guestroom.<\/li>\n<li>Observes and notes guest preferences.<\/li>\n<li>Resolves guest challenges to the guest satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Confirms all guest transportation and destinations.<\/li>\n<li>Directs traffic at the porte-cochere and assists with valet parking as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains the City of Dreams Manila driveway, ensuring that a safe and orderly environment is maintained at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Remains responsible for ordering and directing all traffic through the driveway including Taxi\u2019s, Limousines and arranging valet parking for guests as required.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that all guest\u2019s luggage are retrieved from vehicle in a timely and efficient manner and transferred to the Bell Desk for labeling.<\/li>\n<li>Requires to assist the Bell Attendants when required.<\/li>\n<li>Attends to daily briefings and departmental meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Adheres to all Company policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Performs ability to lift minimum of 30 Kg and follows the correct safe manual handling and lifting techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Performs ability to stand for long periods of time.<\/li>\n<li>Identifies and implements best practices both in the Concierge department work area as well as throughout the hotel.<\/li>\n<li>Reduces waste materials and supplies by adhering to the Company\u2019s guideline on re-using and recycling.<\/li>\n<li>Conserves water and energy when possible.<\/li>\n<li>Adheres to set procedures for attendance and timekeeping.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in the Company\u2019s Corporate Social Responsibility program.<\/li>\n<li>Adheres to the established and specified uniform, grooming, hygiene and personal appearance standards.<\/li>\n<li>Reports and turns over lost and found articles to the Housekeeping office, following required procedures at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures and maintains confidentiality of all guest\u2019s information and pertinent hotel data.<\/li>\n<li>Reports accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and\/or security issues to supervisors\/Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Reports suspicious vehicles and individuals entering the Hotel.<\/li>\n<li>Assists the Hotel Emergency Response Team in responding to emergencies; involvement is guided and \/or limited per Hotel\u2019s Emergency Procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains the highest standard of professionalism, ethics, and attitude towards guests and colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>Performs ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, overnight, and public holidays.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors from time to time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>QUALIFICATIONS:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Experience<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No previous experience is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Education<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent professional training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Skills \/ Competencies<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic minded and customer-oriented<\/li>\n<li>Must have and maintain a valid driver\u2019s licence.<\/li>\n<li>Above 6\u2019 tall.
