The Manager &#8211; Cardiac Non-Invasive Services ensures that recruiting, commissioning, on-boarding; orientation and service operation responsibilities are carried out in accordance with plans and timelines.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Uses critical thinking skills and judgment within scope of responsibility to give input and make decisions on issues impacting the Cardiac Non-Invasive services.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for daily oversight of all clinical activities and staffing issues of the Cardiac Non-Invasive Service.<\/li>\n<li>Leads in the effective decision making by identifying and utilizing Evidence Based &#038; Best Practice guidelines and protocols to ensure the provision of the highest level of diagnostic patient care.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for managing overall financial performance of the Cardiac Non-Invasive Service inclusive of Revenue, Expenses, and Philanthropic funds.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the collection, analysis and presentation of monthly performance data.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates the execution of initiatives spearheaded by the Clinical Service Line Leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Acts as the department interface with HR for the recruitment of Cardiac Non-Invasive staff.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiently performs diagnostic Pediatric Cardiac Echocardiogram examinations, fetal echocardiograms and adult CHD echocardiograms, obtaining optimal views, and provides preliminary interpretation.<\/li>\n<li>Uses cognitive Echocardiography skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images.<\/li>\n<li>Analyses Echocardiogram synthesizes information and medical history and communicates findings to Cardiologist.<\/li>\n<li>Assumes responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of the patient\/family while under his\/her care.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains ultrasound equipment, work area, and maintains adequate supplies.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in the maintenance of laboratory IAC-Echo Accreditation.<\/li>\n<li>Establishes and maintains ethical working relationships and good rapport with all co-workers.<\/li>\n<li>Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost, and impact on practice in planning patient care and implements processes accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Establishes and maintains working relationships and solicits input from physicians and other healthcare personnel to ensure optimal patient care.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in quality improvement planning, including utilization of key performance indicators (KPI&#8217;s).<\/li>\n<li>Participates in Sidra recruitment &#038; Commissioning activities as required.<\/li>\n<li>Integrates ethical considerations and processes in all areas.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains confidentiality of patients and employees.<\/li>\n<li>Adheres to Sidra&#8217;s standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies<\/li>\n<li>Adheres to and promotes Sidra&#8217;s Values<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> In view of the evolving needs and opportunities within Sidra, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationships may vary.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS &#8211; REQUIREMENTS:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Education: Master&#8217;s Degree in a relevant field.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Experience: 10+ years relevant clinical experience in Pediatric Cardiology including 5+ years of managerial experience that is engaged in pediatric, fetal and adults with CHD and structural heart disease.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Certification and Licensure:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registration in Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography (RDCS or RCS) and\/or Registration as a Clinical Physiologist in country of origin.<\/li>\n<li>BLS\/PALS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Job Specific Skills and Abilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrated expertise in the use of diagnostic cardiac ultrasound equipment including ancillary devices.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated proficiency in performing 2-D, 3-D, 4D multidimensional imaging, Doppler, Transesophageal, and Stress Echocardiograms in accordance to standard practice.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated expertise in fetal echocardiography<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience in adults with congenital and structural heart disease.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated expertise in generating accurate &#038;
