The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Main Duties:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed in order to achieve the best possible outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Teamwork and collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>To be a good communicator at all levels.<\/li>\n<li>Be committed to developing positive relationships with all members of the school community.<\/li>\n<li>Working alongside fellow teachers to plan engaging lessons that meet requirements of the curriculum.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with colleagues and working flexibly.<\/li>\n<li>Working with parents to ensure the happiness and best academic outcomes for all children.<\/li>\n<li>Working cooperatively with curriculum support staff (where applicable) to support children&#8217;s development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Teaching and Learning: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clear understanding of the Curriculum.<\/li>\n<li>Organising the classroom provision and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive and engaging learning environment.<\/li>\n<li>Planning, preparing and presenting sessions that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class.<\/li>\n<li>Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative teaching.<\/li>\n<li>Observing and assessing children in line with school assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Being reflective of the classroom provision, sessions taught, progress made, and adjusting environment, planning and curriculum to reflect this.<\/li>\n<li>Meeting with other professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists, if required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Behaviour Management and Duties: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow the school&#8217;s behaviour policy.<\/li>\n<li>Manage classes effectively, using approaches which are appropriate to students&#8217; needs in order to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain good relationships with pupils, exercise appropriate authority, and act decisively when necessary within the school&#8217;s behavioural policy.<\/li>\n<li>Be a positive role model and demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behaviour, which are expected of pupils.<\/li>\n<li>Have high expectations of behaviour, promoting self-control and independence of all learners.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out duties as directed and within the school&#8217;s policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Wider Professional Responsibilities: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To work as part of a curriculum action group, supporting planning, assessment, resources and special events linked to that team.<\/li>\n<li>Support the organising and taking part in school events, outings and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with parents\/carers with regards to student&#8217;s achievements and well-being using school systems\/processes such as CPOMS as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school<\/li>\n<li>Run a weekly ECA each term.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Assessment and Data: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Taking responsibility for the progress of a class.<\/li>\n<li>Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of student&#8217;s development.<\/li>\n<li>Using data provided by assessments to influence further planning, provision and intervention.<\/li>\n<li>Providing feedback to parents and carers on a student&#8217;s progress at Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Minimum Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Minimum Experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 1-2 years of Teaching experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Job Specific Knowledge &#038; Skills:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience working with students whom English is not their first language.<\/li>\n<li>Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child.<\/li>\n<li>A high level of professionalism and consideration of the well-being of children.<\/li>\n<li>Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.<\/li>\n<li>Respect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, gender, age and ethnic background.<\/li>\n<li>A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><center><b><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.ae\/jobad\/aed4209f0c439bdceb3ea4d51099dcb824?affid=0852fd5db5a52cbcd75bf945aa534932\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a> <\/b><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description: Al Ghad Charter School is an American Curriculum school in the beautiful city of Abu Dhabi.
