Most importantly, you\u2019ll share in our pride and purpose that affects the lives of millions around the world!<span class=\"br\"><\/span>As a Flight Safety Lean Operations Leader you will coach, drive and lead lean behaviors, principles, and tools by partnering with Operating Leaders in business management roles (e.g. GM of Business Unit, or Executive Lead of a Function). Drive cultural transformation resulting in step-change in operational business metrics. May also be roles that are part of Corporate or Business Unit Kaizen Promotion Offices (KPO).<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Description<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Essential Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and Execute the Lean Transformation within manufacturing lines to achieve Operating goals using KPI-based performance management.<\/li>\n<li>Coach and Collaborate with all levels of the organization and functions including Operators, Support Staff, and the Leadership Team to help progress our Lean Culture and drive Continuous Improvement<\/li>\n<li>Be a Champion of Kaizen and Facilitate Kaizen Events to drive improvements using Pull, Kanban, Standard Work, 5S and Single-Piece Flow.<\/li>\n<li>Teach, Promote, and Practice the Systematic Approach to Lean @ GE and build Kaizen capability.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in Daily Management process including daily management meetings, Genba walks and Kata coaching cycles.<\/li>\n<li>Coach teams using the Kata process to drive daily Rapid Experiments and Problem Solving in a systematic way.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Minimum Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations or related sciences from an accredited university or college<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Operations and \/or Training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Desired Characteristics<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Lean Transformation, Principles &#038; Tools<\/li>\n<li>Ability to influence without direct authority<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn<\/li>\n<li>Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively<\/li>\n<li>Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed<\/li>\n<li>Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborator<\/li>\n<li>Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> At GE Aerospace, we have a relentless dedication to the future of safe and more sustainable flight and believe in our talented people to make it happen. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate\u2019s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary\/ commission based on the plan.
