This is a new department which has recently been set-up for all the wholly owned subsidiaries of MAF. GS is responsible for all the transactional accounting operations of the entities incl. General Ledger, Purchase To Pay, Order To Cash &#038; preparation of Financial Statements<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>ROLE PROFILE<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete day-to-day recording of transactions for assigned companies in compliance with IFRS, tax law and country specific regulations<\/li>\n<li>Ensure monthly closing is accurate and done on time<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules for all accounts, as per company policies<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations and bank reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Ensure balance sheet schedules, bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations do not have any long outstanding items<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to Finance Shared Services Centre Service Level Agreement (SLA) with entities. Monitor and resolve customer queries\/complaints<\/li>\n<li>Make accounting records available for review, on a timely basis, by entities, internal auditors, external auditors and other stakeholders, as required<\/li>\n<li>Ensure you are always up to date with IFRS, tax laws and country accounting regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>REQUIREMENTS<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance\/Accounting\/Commerce<\/li>\n<li>5 years\u2019 experience in a big four audit firm<\/li>\n<li>Additional experience working in the GL function of a Finance Department will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Extensive IFRS knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Advance MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills &#8211; Fluent English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>WHAT WE OFFER<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At Majid Al Futtaim, we\u2019re on a mission to create great moments, to spread happiness, to build, experiences that stay in our memories for a lifetime.
